Abstract

256,207. Vendome, R. July 31, 1925, [Convention date]. Air-pressure sprayers. -The head 1 of an atomizer attached to a container for the liquid to be sprayed is provided with an opening 2 for the intake of compressed air from a bulb, and is formed at its upper end with a chamber 4 having an aperture 5 in its peripheral wall. A tube 6 immersed in the liquid is mounted to extend an adjustable distance into the chamber. Liquid raised by the air pressure is mixed with air and atomized in the chamber 4 and is discharged at the crifice 5.
