Abstract

793,710. Drop delivering stoppers. METAL BOX CO., Ltd. May 30, 1956 [June 3, 1955], No. 16003/55. Class 125(3). A nozzle arrangement for delivering the liquid contents of a bottle in drops has a nozzle body 3 with a collar 4 for insertion into the bottle neck, a bore 6 connecting a chamber 8 to an outlet 7 and a passageway 9 into which is inserted a plug member 12 having a cylindrical stem 13 with a flat 14 and a rounded extension 16 which enters chamber 8 but is spaced therefrom by a circumferential rib 11 and ribs 10 on member 3, the flange 17 on plug 12 being cut away at 18 across a chord so that there is restricted communication between the interior of the bottle and the outlet 7.
