[Class 51 (i).] In a gaseous-fuel furnace of the type in which air for combustion enters through a series of small holes formed in the crown of the furnace and the gas enters in such a manner that the gas flow is at right-angles to that of the air, the gas is supplied from ducts L in the end walls and arch blocks K and is directed horizontally in opposed streams from small holes g. The air is supplied from the spaces E and vertical ducts F in the double arch A, C.
