Abstract

295,798. Miller, A. W. June 30, 1927. Hooks fixed to walls .and flat surfaces.-A device for attaching fixtures to walls comprises a back plate to take against the back of the wall, to which plate is rigidly secured a threaded rod adapted to pass through the wall, said rod being provided with a front plate and a securing nut whereby the device may be secured to the wall and the threaded rod adapted to carry the desired fixture. The metal plate a has riveted to it the screwed rod b and is adapted to bear against adjacent laths of a plaster wall f. 'The rod is passed through the wall and secured by the front plate c and nut d. On an extension of the rod is mounted a block g which is countersunk and secured by a conically headed nut e. The plates a and c may be roughened or provided with a number of small spikes. For securing cables the block g is replaced by a suitable bonding clip.
