Acetic acid; acetone; alcohol. - The organic matter present in waste liquors obtained in the treatment of cellulose material with caustic soda is precipitated by the addition of magnesium bicarbonate, and after removal is distilled whereby acetic acid, acetone and alcohol may be obtained.
