Switches, quick-break; switches, actuating.-A multiple switch comprises a number of spring- blade contacts h<1> - - h<6> which are brought into engagement with contact pillars g<1> - - g<6> by rotarv movement of a handle d on a shaft c bearing a contact-operating cam drum. In order to vary the switching sequence, the cam drum is made in separable parts k<1> - - k<3> which are mounted on the shaft and coupled with one another in any of several positions in relation to each other. Each part has holes p, p<1> in which engage projections u, u<1> of coupling rings t, one of the coupling members r being driven by the shaft by having an elongated hole fitting over the flattened part f of the screwed end e of the spindle. The cam parts when assembled are clamped in position by an internally threaded sleeve v. If it is desired to vary the order of operating the switches the cam parts may, after being removed, be turned through 90‹ or 180‹ and re-assembled on the shaft.
