Lawn - mowers. - To support a lawnmower at the edge of a lawn with one of the ground wheels a in the air an axle c on which is mounted an auxiliary roller d is secured to the side plate b. The axle is secured in a socket h by a screw g. The socket h may be adjustable on the side plate as shown in Fig. 2, the inter-engaging surfaces being serrated. In another modification the shaft c is cranked and the height of the roller adjusted by swinging the crank to the desired' position.
