Abstract

143,368. Halliday, R. T. April 26, 1919. Lawn-mowers.-A lawn-mower carries on its fore-part a bar A of steel, malleable cast iron, &c. which is provided along its lower edge with serrations or saw-cuts. The bar is adjustably and detachably secured to the mower by upwardly-extending slotted arms B. The serrated edge of the bar lifts the grass, thus facilitating the cut. The device may also he used for levelling purposes when sand is spread on the ground.
