Abstract

Advertising on vehicle wheels. - In advertising - devices comprising a non- rotating disc suspened at the side of the road-wheel of a vehicle, the disc n is mounted on a spindle m which itself is supported in a plain bearing or in a ballbearing k, preferably double - raced, arranged in a cap, &c. j screwed on the wheel a. The disc n is secured between nuts o, p, the inner of which may be provided with a flange o<2> which projects inwardly away from the disc n to form a gutter and to act as a dust protector for the ball-bearing k. The disc may be weighted, as at n<1>. to prevent its rotation, or may be connected, by a spring or otherwise, 'to a stationary part of the vehicle. The disc n, which may be of any form, may be painted with luminous paint, and mav be located at the inner side of the wheel a.
