149,714. Thomas, B. E. March 14, 1919. Universal couplings.-A flexible shaft coupling comprise laminated flexible rings s 16 placed in annular recesses 8 in collars 3, 4 secured on the shafts 1, 2. The flexible rings s are secured to the collars by several bolts 13 arranged alternately with bolts 19 which connect the flexible rings and collars together. The bolts 19 may be surrounded by sleeves 18, and the flexible rings are spaced from the collars by split elastic washers on the bolts 13.
