121,685. Sutcliffe, R. March 27, 1918. Universal joints.-The shaft ends have fixed on them collars B1, B2 which are convex and fit inside the sleeve C. Bolts D1, D2, perpendicular to each other, pass through the sleeve, collars, and shaft ends. The bolts may be loose in the sleeve and tight in the shaft ends, or vice versa, and the interior of the sleeve may be shaped to fit the collars. A series of such couplings may be used in a shaft.
