Universal couplings.-In a coupling for magnetos &c., two or more pins f, carried by a plate e on one shaft d, engage spiral springs g carried in circular recesses c in a plate b on the other shaft a. The springs fit tightly on the pins and in the recesses, and holes b<1> are provided in the plate b to allow movement of the tapered ends oi the pins.
