Description

Klappschachtel für Zigaretten
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten, bestehend aus einem Schachtelteil mit Schachtel-Vordervyand, Schachtel-Rückwand, Schachtel-Seitenwänden sowie Bodenwand und aus einem mit dem Schachtelteil schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel aus Deckel-Vorderwand, Deckel-Rückwand, Deckel-Seitenwänden und Stirnwand.
Klappschachtel gehören zu den seit Jahrzehnten weltweit eingesetzten Zigarettenpackungen. Bekannt sind auch Ausführungen mit abgeschrägten oder abgerundeten aufrechten Packungskanten.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, eine Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel so ausbilden, dass eine optimale Anpassung an die äußere Form bzw. Kontur des aus einer Zigarettengruppe bestehenden Packungsinhalts auch bei besonderer Formation der Zigaretten gegeben ist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein mindestens einer der Seitenwände zugekehrter Bereich im Querschnitt (etwa) trapezförmig ausgebildet ist mit jeweils an Schachtel-Vorderwand und Deckel-Vorderwand einerseits und Schachtel-Rückwand und Deckel- Rückwand andererseits anschließenden, konvergierenden Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkeln, deren Breite größer ist als der Durchmesser einer Zigarette und kleiner als die Gesamtabmessung von zwei nebeneinander positionierten Zigaretten.
Eine Besonderheit ist die Anpassung der Querschnittskontur der Klappschachtel an die Kontur der Zigarettengruppe. Randseitige Zigaretten sind so positioniert, dass konvergierende Wandschenkel der Klappschachtel an jeweils zwei Zigaretten von zwei randseitigen Querreihen anliegen. Die Zigaretten liegen dabei jeweils in den (stumpfwinkligen) Knickstellen. Des Weiteren liegen die konvergierenden Wandschenkel an jeweils zwei Zigaretten der Zigarettengruppe an, ebenso die in der Breite entsprechend reduzierte Seitenwand, die an den beiden Zigaretten der randseitigen Querreihen Anlage erhalten.
Vorzugsweise ist die Klappschachtel in seitlichen, den Seitenwänden zugekehrte Bereichen so ausgebildet, dass bei einer Zigarettengruppe mit randseitigen Teilgruppen aus fünf Zigaretten in einer Anordnung mit einer äußeren Querreihe aus zwei und einer benachbarten Querreihe aus drei Zigaretten die Zigarettengruppe passend umgeben ist, derart, dass die konvergierenden Wandschenkel an jeweils zwei Zigaretten der beiden randseitigen Querreihen und die in der Breite entsprechend reduzierte Seitenwand an den beiden Zigaretten der randseitigen Querreihe anliegen.
Die an vorzugsweise im Bereich beider Seitenwände mit polygonartiger Kontur ausgebildeten Klappschachteln können durch Abwinklung gebildete Kanten zwischen den Wandschenkeln einerseits und den Seitenwänden bzw. Vorderwand und Rückwand anderseits aufweisen. Vorteilhaft ist aber eine Ausführung, bei der die Kanten zwischen Wandschenkel einerseits und Seitenwand anderseits abgerundet sind. Des Weiteren können auch die Kanten zwischen Wandschenkel ei- nerseits und Vorderwand bzw. Rückwand anderseits abgerundet sein, wobei alle Rundungen in den Abmessungen an die Kontur bzw. an die Abmessungen der Zigaretten abgepasst sind.
Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die Anordnung und Gestaltung eines im Schachtel- teil angeordneten, im Prinzip bei diesem Packungstyp vorhandenen Kragens.
Schließlich bezieht sich die Erfindung auf die Ausgestaltung von Zuschnitten für die Fertigung der Klappschachteln.

Fig. 9 eine mit Zigaretten gefüllte Klappschachtel im Horizontalschnitt in der Schnittebene IX-IX der Fig. 1 (linke Detaildarstellung) sowie eines weiteren Ausführungsbeispiels (rechte Detaildarstellung) Fig. 10 eine Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 3 mit Zigaretten im Horizontalschnitt in der Schnittebene X-X der Fig. 3.
Bei den gezeigten Packungen handelt es sich um Klappschachteln für Zigaretten 10. Eine Klappschachtel besteht in der Grundkonstruktion aus einem (unterem) Schachtelteil 11 und einem Deckel 12. Im Schachtelteil 11 ist frontseitig ein Kragen 13, hier aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt, angebracht, der mit einem Teilbereich aus dem Schachtelteil 11 herausragt und in Schließstellung des Deckels 12 von diesem umfasst ist.
Schachtelteil 11 und Deckel 12 bestehen aus einem einstückigen Zuschnitt. Dieser ist so aufgebaut, dass in Längsrichtung aufeinander folgende Bereiche für eine Schachtel-Vorderwand 14, eine Bodenwand 15, eine Schachtel-Rückwand 16, eine Deckel-Rückwand 17, eine Stirnwand 18 und eine Deckel-Vorderwand 19 gebildet sind. Schachtelteil 11 und Deckel 12 sind im Bereich von Schachtel-Rück- wand 16 und Deckel-Rückwand 17 durch eine quergerichtete Gelenklinie 20 miteinander verbunden, die sich nur im Bereich der Rückwände 16, 17 erstreckt. An eine freie Seite der Deckel-Vorderwand 19 schließt ein Deckel-Innenlappen 21 an, der bei der fertigen Klappschachtel gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 19 gefaltet und mit dieser verbunden ist.
An die Schachtel-Vorderwand 14, Schachtel-Rückwand 16, Deckel-Rückwand 17 und Deckel-Vorderwand 19 schließen Faltlappen an zur Bildung von Schachtel- Seitenwänden 22 und Deckel-Seitenwänden 23. Diese Seitenwände 22, 23 werden durch einander überdeckende und miteinander verbundene Faltlappen gebildet, nämlich Schachtel-Seitenlappen 24, 25 einerseits und Deckel-Seitenlappen 26, 27 andererseits. Die Seitenlappen 24, 26 bilden jeweils die Außenseite der doppellagigen Seitenwände 22, 23. Die Seitenlappen 25, 27 liegen innenseitig.
Eine Besonderheit der Klappschachtel liegt in der Gestaltung bzw. Konstruktion derselben in einem Bereich benachbart zu den Schachtel-Seitenwänden 22 und Deckel-Seitenwänden 23. Die mit vergleichsweise geringerer Breite ausgebildete Schachtel-Vorderwand 14, Schachtel-Rückwand 16, Deckel-Rückwand 17 und Deckel-Vorderwand 19 sind über ein Zwischenstück jeweils mit den Seitenwänden 22, 23 bzw. mit den korrespondierenden Seitenlappen 24..27 verbunden. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Schachtel-Schenkel 28, 29 und jeweils um Deckel- Schenkel 30, 31. Diese Wandschenkel 28..31 werden durch Materialstreifen des Zuschnitts zwischen den Seitenlappen 24..27 und den zugeordneten Wandungen, nämlich Schachtel-Vorderwand 14, Schachtel-Rückwand 16, Deckel-Rückwand 17 und Deckel-Vorderwand 19 andererseits gebildet. Alle Wandbereiche des Zuschnitts sind durch Längsfaltlinien 32 und Querfaltlinien 33 voneinander abge- grenzt.
Die beschriebenen Bereiche des Zuschnitts sind - im Querschnitt der Packung gesehen - unter einem Winkel zueinander angeordnet. Die Materialstreifen, nämlich Schachtel-Schenkel 28, 29 sowie Deckel-Schenkel 30, 31 sind unter einem spitzen Winkel 39 von insbesondere etwa 30° zur benachbarten Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 oder Schachtel-Rückwand 16 bzw. Deckel-Rückwand 17 oder Deckel- Vorderwand 19 ausgerichtet. Die Seitenwände, nämlich Schachtel-Seitenwände 22 und Deckel-Seitenwände 23 sind vorzugsweise unter einem Winkel 40 von etwa 60° zu den Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkeln 28..31 gerichtet. Dadurch ergibt sich eine in Querschnitt annährend trapezförmige Packungsform im seitlichem Be- reich (Fig. 9, Fig. 10).
Die Abmessungen der Klappschachteln und insbesondere des annährend trapezförmigen Seitenbereichs ergeben sich aus den Abmessungen der Zigaretten 10, insbesondere aber aus der gewählten Formation einer Zigarettengruppe 34 als In- halt der Klappschachtel. Bei einem bevorzugten Inhalt von zwanzig Zigaretten 10 ist eine Formation aus Querreihen 35, 36 von Zigaretten 10 vorgesehen, wobei jeweils eine randseitige Querreihe 35 aus zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten 10 und eine benachbarte Querreihe 36 aus drei Zigaretten 10 besteht. Die Zigaretten 10 der benachbarten Querreihen 35, 36 sind dabei in „Sattellage" positio- niert, also versetzt zueinander. Der Inhalt der Klappschachtel hat dadurch ein randseitig konvergierendes Querschnittsprofil. Dieses wird passend nahezu formflüssig von dem Profil der Klappschachtel aufgenommen.
Eine Besonderheit sind die Abmessungen der Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkel 28..31. Diese haben übereinstimmende Breite, und zwar deutlich größer als der Durchmesser einer einzelnen Zigarette 10, jedoch kleiner als der addierte Durchmesser von zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten 10. Die Abmessung ist so gewählt, dass Zigaretten 10 der Querreihen 35, 36 jeweils im Bereich einer durch Faltlinien gebildeten Abknickung 37, 38 angeordnet sind. Es ergibt sich so eine formstabile Klappschachtel, da die unter einem Winkel zueinander gerichteten Wandbereiche, nämlich Schenkel 28..31 sowie Seitenwände 22, 23 jeweils eine Abstützung an zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten 10 erhalten. Die Zigarettengruppe 34 kann alternativ auch so ausgebildet sein, dass lediglich randseitig jeweils eine Querreihe 35 aus zwei Zigaretten 10 im übrigen aber ausschließlich Querreihe 36 aus drei Zigaretten 10 gebildet sind. Durch die Ausgestaltung der Klappschachtel im seitlichem Bereich ergibt sich eine Materialeinsparung. Es ist vorgesehen, dass lediglich die Seitenwände 22, 23 zweilagig ausgebildet sind, also die Seitenlappen 24..27 eine Breite aufweisen, die etwa der Breite der Seitenwände 22, 23 entspricht.
Eine weitere Besonderheit besteht darin, dass einzelne oder alle aufrechten Packungskanten, also die Abknickungen 37, 38 gerundet sind. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 7, Fig. 8 und Fig. 10 ist eine besonders vorteilhafte Ausführung gezeigt, bei der lediglich die Abknickungen 37 als Rund- kanten ausgebildet sind mit einer vorzugsweise kreisförmigen Rundung unter Anpassung an die Abmessung bzw. den Radius der anliegenden Zigaretten. Im günstigsten Falle werden die rand- bzw. eckseitigen Zigaretten 10 formschlüssig umhüllt durch die Wandungen der Klappschachtel. Die Seitenlappen 24..27 sind hierbei mit sehr geringer Breite ausgebildet, so dass eine Überlappung nur außer- halb der Rundungen der Abknickung 37 gegeben ist. Im Bereich der Abknickung 38 bleiben scharfe, jedoch stumpfwinklige Kanten.
Die Ausgestaltung der Klappschachtel mit ausschließlich gerundeten Kanten bzw. Abknickungen 37, 38 ist im Querschnitt in Fig. 9, rechtes Detail, gezeigt. Beide Abknickungen 37, 38 sind abgerundet, vorzugsweise kreisförmig unter Anpassung an die Abmessung einer Zigarette 10.
Der Inhalt der Klappschachtel, nämlich die Zigarettengruppe 34, ist von einer Innenumhüllung 41 umgeben, die aus Stanniol, Papier oder Folie besteht.
Die Zuschnitte für die Fertigung der Klappschachtel in den unterschiedlichen Ausführungsformen sind in besonderer Weise ausgebildet. Gemäß Fig. 5 ist der durch Schachtel-Vorderwand 14, Schachtel-Rückwand 16 etc. definierte mittlere Bereich mit geringerer Breite ausgebildet als bei herkömmlichen Klappschachteln. Auch die Gesamtbreite des Zuschnitts ist geringer als die Breite eines Zuschnitts für eine Standard-Klappschachtel. Bodenwand 15 und Stirnwand 18 sind an die Kontur der Klappschachtel ange- passt, und zwar durch trapezförmig ausgebildete Randbereiche mit Schrägkanten 42 und einer Querkante 43. Die Schrägkanten 42 stoßen bei der fertigen Packung stumpf gegen die Schachtel-Schenkel 28, 29 bzw. gegen die Deckel-Schenkel 30, 31. Die Querkante 43 liegt jeweils an dem inneren Schachtel-Seitenlappen 25 (Bodenwand 15) bzw. an dem inneren Deckel-Seitenlappen 27 (Stirnwand 18) an. Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 7 ist zwischen den Schrägkanten 42 einerseits und den Querkanten 43 andererseits jeweils eine Rundung 44 gebildet, die den Rundungen der Abknickungen 37 entspricht.
Die Rundungen bzw. gerundeten Abknickungen 37, 38 bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 10 bzw. bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 9, rechts, werden durch einen Rundungsstreifen 45 des Zuschnitts definiert. Die- ser Rundungsstreifen 45 besteht üblicherweise aus einer Anzahl von parallelen Rillungen, die durch Prägung in das Verpackungsmaterial (dünner Karton) eingebracht werden. Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 9, rechts, ist auch die innenliegende Längsfaltlinie 32 als Rundungsstreifen 45 ausgebildet.
Bodenwand 15 einerseits und Stirnwand 18 andererseits sind jeweils mit der Schachtel-Seitenwand 22 bzw. der Deckel-Seitenwand 23 verbunden, und zwar durch Boden-Ecklappen 46 bzw. durch Deckel-Ecklappen 47. Die Ecklappen 46, 47 erstrecken sich in Verlängerung der innenseitigen Schachtel-Seitenlappen 25 bzw. der Deckel-Seitenlappen 27. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 , Fig. 2 sowie Fig. 5 sind die Ecklappen 46, 47 so ausgebildet, dass eine passende, formschlüssige AbStützung von äußeren Lappenrändern im Bereich der Bodenwand 15 an Schachtel-Vorderwand 14 und Schachtel-Schenkel 28 gegeben ist. Entsprechend stoßen freie Lappenkanten der stirnseitigen Ecklappen 47 an die Deckel-Vorderwand 19 und den benachbarten Deckel-Schenkel 30 (Fig. 2). Die Formstabilität der Packung wird dadurch erhöht. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel mit Rundkanten (Fig. 3, Fig. 4 und Fig.7) entspricht die Breite der Ecklappen 46, 47 der Breite von diesen zugeordneten Faltlappen 25, 27. Die Gesamtbreite des Zuschnitts wird bei dieser Ausführung im Bereich der Ecklappen 46, 47 nicht überschritten. Bei der fertigen Klappschachtel sind die Ecklappen 46, 47 mit Bodenwand 15 und Stirnwand 18 durch Klebung verbunden.
Der hier aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehende Kragen 13 ist an die Form der Klappschachtel angepasst. Eine Kragen-Vorderwand 48 ist bei der Ausführung gemäß Fig. 5 - passend zu Fig. 1 , Fig. 2 - durch Kragen-Faltlinien 49 begrenzt. Hieran schließen seitlich gegeneinander abgegrenzte Materialstreifen 50, 51 an, die gegeneinander durch eine stärker ausgeprägte Kragen-Faltlinie 52 abgegrenzt sind. Diese besteht bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel aus einer Perforationslinie, die eine zuverlässige Faltung der Materialstreifen 50, 51 in die Winkelstellung zueinander gewährleistet. Eine Besonderheit ist ein an den äußeren Material- streifen 51 anschließender Kragen-Schenkel 53, der durch eine Kragen-Faltlinie 49 begrenzt ist und der bei der fertigen Klappschachtel an dem rückseitigen Schachtel-Schenkel 29 bzw. Deckel-Schenkel 31 anliegt (Fig. 4). Durch diesen Kragen-Schenkel 53 ist eine höhere Stabilität gewährleistet. Darüber hinaus wird durch diesen in der Kontur nach innen gefalteten Kragen-Schenkel 53 der Schließ- Vorgang des Deckels 12 nach dem Öffnen desselben erleichtert.
Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 8 - passend zu Fig. 3, Fig. 4 - ist die mittlere Kragen-Faltlinie 52 der Fig. 6 durch einen Rundungsstreifen 54 ersetzt, der die Anpassung des Kragens an die Packungsform gemäß Fig. 3, Fig. 4 im Bereich der gerundeten Abknickung 37 (Fig. 10) gewährleistet. 16. Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Klappschachtel für Zigaretten (10), bestehend aus einem Schachtelteil (11) mit Schachtel-Vorderwand (14), Schachtel-Rückwand (16), Schachtel-Seitenwänden (22) sowie Bodenwand (15) und aus einem mit dem Schachtelteil (11) schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel (12) aus Deckel-Vorderwand (19), Deckel-Rück- wand (17), Deckel-Seitenwänden (23) und Stirnwand (18), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein mindestens einer der Schachtel-Seitenwände (22) sowie Deckel-Seitenwände (23) zugekehrter Bereich im Querschnitt trapezförmig ausgebildet ist mit jeweils an Schachtel-Vorderwand (14), Schachtel-Rückwand (16) bzw. Deckel-Vorderwand (19) und Deckel-Rückwand (17) anschließenden, kon- vergierenden Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkeln (28, 29; 30, 31), deren Breite größer ist als der Durchmesser einer Zigarette (10) und kleiner als addierte Durchmesser von zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten (10).
2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkel (28, 29; 30, 31) gegenüber der Schachtel-Vorderwand
(14) bzw. Schachtel-Rückwand (16) bzw. Deckel-Vorderwand (19) bzw. Deckel- Rückwand (17) unter einem Winkel (39) von (etwa) 30° und zur quergerichteten Schachtel-Seitenwand (22) bzw. Deckel-Seitenwand (23) unter einem Winkel (40) von (etwa) 60° gerichtet sind.
3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zigarettengruppe (34) als Packungsinhalt im randseitigen Bereich - im Bereich des trapezförmigen Querschnitts - aus einer randseitigen Querreihe (35) mit zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten (10) und einer daneben angeordneten Querreihe (36) aus drei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten (10) besteht, wobei die Zigaretten (10) der Querreihe (35) gegenüber den Zigaretten (10) der Querreihe (36) vorzugsweise in Sattellage positioniert sind.
4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, da- durch gekennzeichnet, dass Zigaretten (10) der Zigarettengruppe (34) jeweils im
Bereich von Abknickungen (37, 38) zwischen den Materialstreifen bzw. Schenkeln (28, 29; 30, 31) einerseits und Frontseite bzw. Rückseite andererseits sowie Seitenwand (22, 23,) dritterseits positioniert sind, insbesondere randseitige Zigaretten (10) der Querreihe (36) einerseits und die Zigaretten (10) der Querreihe (35) ande- rerseits.

Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Breite der aus zwei einander überdeckenden Seitenlappen (24, 25; 26, 27) bestehenden Seitenwände (22, 23) etwas geringer ist als die Abmessung von zwei nebeneinander liegenden Zigaretten (10), insbesondere der randseitigen Querreihe (35).
6. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abknickungen (37) und/oder die Abknickungen (38) jeweils als Rundkanten ausgebildet sind, nämlich mit einer vorzugsweise kreisförmigen Abrundung, die aus Rundungsstreifen (45) gebildet sind, und zwar unter Anpassung an die Kontur und Abmessung der den Abknickungen (37, 38) gegenüberliegenden Zigaretten (10).
7. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 6 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die die Seitenwände (22, 23) begrenzenden Abknickungen (37) gerundet bzw. als Rundkanten ausgebildet und die zwischen den Schenkeln (28, 29; 30, 31) einerseits sowie Vorderseite und Rückseite andererseits gebildeten Abknickungen (38) winklig ausgebildet sind.
8. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 6 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei gerundeten Abknickungen (38) die Seitenlappen (24, 25; 26, 27) sich ausschließlich im Bereich zwischen den benachbarten, gerundeten Abknickungen (38) erstrecken und einander überdecken.
9. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Verlängerung innenseitiger Schachtel-Seitenlappen (25) und Deckel-Seitenlappen (27) jeweils Boden-Ecklappen (46) und Deckel- Ecklappen (47) angeordnet sind, wobei die Ecklappen (46, 47) durch entspre- chende freie Lappenkanten an die Kontur von Bodenwand (15) und Stirnwand (18) angepasst sind oder hinsichtlich der Querabmessungen der Breite von zugeordneten Seitenlappen (25, 27) entsprechen.
10. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, da- durch gekennzeichnet, dass ein vorzugsweise aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehender Kragen (13) der Kontur bzw. Querschnittsform im Bereich der Schenkel (28, 29; 30, 31) angepasst ist und randseitige Fortsetzungen aufweisen, insbesondere einen Kragen-Schenkel (53), der an rückseitigen Schachtel-Schenkeln (29) bzw. Deckel-Schenkeln (31) anliegt.
