Definitions
- the present invention relates to a push button switch housing and one Pushbutton switches, in particular for use in motor vehicles.
- switches are used in vehicles for example for the actuation of the hazard warning lights or for other purposes, such as for heating or air conditioning, can be used. Depending on the installation position of the switch, the available installation depth is limited.
- switches are used in most switches have a small size and therefore the requirement of small size Take installation depth into account.
- switches other electrical or electronic components, such as Light sources through which the switch can be illuminated are provided. These components are usually used together with the microswitch arranged in a room called a switch chamber.
- Plug contacts are in a housing that acts as a plug chamber or Plug trough is called, held in particular for protection to offer against kinking of the plug contacts.
- a button or button cap is used to operate the switch provided that with the electronic components that are in the Switch chamber are provided, can cooperate.
- the plug chamber and the switch chamber can represent two rooms, which are either formed in one piece, d. H. a common base plate have, from one side of the connector chamber and from the opposite side extends the switch chamber.
- chambers can also be formed from two different housings be with each other via clamp connections or locking devices get connected.
- this construction of a switch housing shows the disadvantage that the switch housing has a large installation depth and many different parts depending on the application of the switch have other configurations, are manufactured and stored have to.
- the object of the present invention is therefore a Push button switch housing and a push button switch to create the have a small installation depth without the pushbutton switch over a console in which the switch is installed, more than necessary protrudes, and which can be used universally.
- the invention is based on the finding that this object is ideally achieved can be if a compact design for the Pushbutton switch housing is selected.
- a Pushbutton switch housing solved, the at least one guide for at least part of a button and a plug chamber in which at least a plug contact is provided, characterized in that the Plug chamber is formed at least by part of the guide.
- the area of the key is referred to as the key at least part of the button, preferably the frame or the picks up bottom and movement of the button only in predetermined Allows directions.
- the guide In addition to guiding part of the button, the guide also guides the casing and thus serve to protect the plug contacts and thereby Additional space required for a separate connector chamber avoided become.
- the guide for the button and the plug chamber is an integral component.
- This integral construction allows manufacturing the push button switch housing economically efficient because a manufacturing cost can be reduced and a precision that in the case of individual parts which are connected to one another by snap or clamp connections must be connected, is necessary, must not be observed. Thanks to the integral design, inexpensive manufacturing processes, like a two-component injection molding process with individual metallization Ingredients are used, which further reduces the Installation height of the push button switch housing and thus the Pushbutton switch can result.
- At least part of the guidance can be performed simultaneously define a space for accommodating electronic components.
- the space that the Includes electronic components is also referred to below Switch chamber designated.
- the pushbutton switch housing preferably has the shape of a trough, which is open on one side and the side walls are double-walled are trained.
- One such form of push button switch housing is advantageous because their production also with cheap methods, such as Injection molding process can take place.
- the wall thickness at a such a tub shape with double-walled side walls chosen low because the housing already has a certain stability due to this shape having.
- the double-walled side walls can be used as a guide for the Button. This guide can be used to further stabilize the Housing reinforcements may be provided. This can be done by means of webs the guide shaft formed by the double-walled side walls be formed.
- the push button switch housing preferably has a base plate, which can carry at least one electronic component on one side and has at least one plug contact on the other side.
- This Base plate which is preferably flat, can have projections Have attachment of individual electronic components. Through the level Design of the base plate can all electronic components be placed next to each other on this. The installation height of the Pushbutton switch is therefore largely only by the amount of electronic components, but nowadays in small sizes and are therefore available with low heights.
- a spring seat for a compression spring with the Key can interact, be provided.
- the Compression spring in the area that is also used for the electronic components a further reduction in the installation depth can be achieved.
- Conventional push button switches usually have a compression spring on Attack the bottom of the button to get an even Press the button.
- the compression spring in the housing Switch chamber is provided and thus with an area of the inside the button is engaged. The reason for this simple arrangement of the Spring is an uneven push down and therefore one Tilting of the key by the housing according to the invention possible large guide length of the edge of the button is prevented.
- the compression spring therefore only has to exert a certain force against the button apply to accidental actuation of one of the electronic Prevent components.
- the compression spring of the so-called "Unfolding" serve. This means that even if between that Microswitch and the button there is little play, the button has a bias due to the compression spring and for this reason does not rattle. Since the provision of a compression spring in the invention Pressure switch, for example in the guide shaft, is not necessary, can be provided in this, for example, reinforcement bars increase the stability of the push button switch housing.
- a push button switch which comprises at least one button, a push button switch housing with a guide for at least part of the button and at least one electronic component, and at least one plug contact, characterized in that at least part of the guide for the part of the button that surrounds at least one plug contact.
