Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种根据独立权利要求1前序部分所述的用于旋转切屑去除机加工的刀具
背景技术
在申请US-A-4,850,759中已经知道,在小尺寸的可更换切削刀片中对提供铣削和钻孔刀具中存在的问题提出了一种解决方案,但是,在高速旋转速度下的某些情况下,已知的刀具会产生振动,并且会在工件中产生不希望的图案或振动痕迹。而且,这种已知的刀具价格昂贵。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的是提供一种经济上占有优势的刀具。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种能够进行良好冷却的刀具。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种刀具,其中的冲洗通道能够允许冲洗介质进行良好的流动。
本发明的又一个目的是提供一种刀具,它允许进行重新磨削。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种刀具,其中的冲洗通道能够允许在切削头的几何形状方面具有大的自由度。
从权利要求1的特征部分所述的刀具,可以实现本发明的这些和其他目的。

具体实施方式
在图1A-1C中示出根据本发明的刀具10的实施例,其包括具有切削头11、腰部12和紧固装置或柄部13的一体式单元。刀具包括贯通的轴向或中心通道14。所述通道适于将冲洗介质传输到切削头11的切削刃15和16处。通道14还构成为用于减轻刀具10中硬质合金的质量。
切削刃设在刀具10的远离柄部13的端部,根据应用的领域切削刃具有不同的设计。刀具10的前端的优选形状在图1B中更详细的示出。刀具10由硬质材料、优选为硬质合金制成,并且包括三个螺旋的第一切削刃15和三个第二切削刃16,所有的切削刃都与刀具形成为一体。主切削刃的数量可以是一个、两个或四个到六个。第一切削刃15优选位于公共的假想圆柱体上,该圆柱体与刀具旋转轴线CL同心。每个切屑槽17以凹入方式形成并且从刀具自由端21处的相连第二切削刃16处延伸。第二切削刃16具有向内从假想圆柱体延伸的径向延伸部,其中,一个切削刃基本与刀具旋转轴线CL相连,从而刀具能够向下钻到工件内。每对切削刃15和16被通过孔18进给冲洗介质。三个孔18布置在围绕刀具旋转轴线CL适当对称的环形内。孔18与中央通道14相连,该通道终止于刀具另一个自由端19的区域内。通道14具有形成数个不同直径的圆形空间的圆形横截面。至少第二切削刃16与圆形轴向通道14的假想延伸部相交,这意味着在通道14的前方,提供了沿轴向的穿孔硬质合金。孔18与中央通道14相交。圆形中央通道14在沿轴向远离工具10的第一自由端21之处终止。轴向通道14的前端14A包括至少将轴向通道部分封住的材料。
圆柱形柄部13的外直径被设计为ΦD。柄部包围第一内部空间14B,其优选为圆柱形,具有最大直径ΦA。直径ΦA为外直径ΦD的25-80%。第一内部空间14B连接到第一圆锥形过渡空间14C,其与第二内部空间14D相交。圆柱形腰部12的外直径被设计为Φd。该腰部包围第二内部空间14D,其优选为圆柱形,具有的最大直径为ΦB。直径ΦB为外直径Φd的25-80%。第二内部空间14D连接到第二圆锥形过渡空间14E,其与第三内部空间14F相交。第三内部空间14F的直径比直径ΦA和ΦB小。第二圆锥形过渡空间14E的轴向长度比第一圆锥形过渡空间14E的轴向长度长。第三内部空间14F终止于被孔18在三个位置穿出孔的壁14A处。孔18优选平行于轴线CL。这样,通道14包括通过锥形阶台14C和14E相连接的三个圆柱形空间14B、14D和14F。从而,通过部分14B-14F和18,形成贯穿刀具并且用于冲洗介质的通道14。刀具在其包络面与轴向通道14之间的最大壁厚被设置成,与靠近第二端部19相比,该最大壁厚更靠近第一端部21,以便使偏移最小化。刀具最大轴向长度与外直径ΦD的比例,例如为大约4到6。
此外,应该指出,所述实施例与铣削或钻孔刀具装置有关,即,围绕其纵向中心轴线旋转的刀具装置。希望具有小直径的铣削刀具成为本发明首选应用的领域,但是钻孔刀具也落入本发明的应用范围。
因此,本发明相对于现有技术具有相当多的优点。由于这种刀具节省硬质合金,因此经济上很有利。由于其轴向通道的几何形状该刀具具有良好的冷却能力和冲洗介质的流动能力。该刀具能够进行重新磨削。在与切削头部相邻的腰部12处具有最大的壁厚,弯曲力矩在此处也是最大。并且选择切削头部几何形状时还允许有更大的自由度。
本发明绝不仅限于所述的实施例,还可以在从属权利要求的限制范围内进行自由的改进。
Claims (8)
1. 一种用于切屑去除机加工的刀具,包括紧固装置(13),所述刀具具有轴向通道(14),所述刀具为一体式单元,所述刀具具有第一端部(21)和第二端部(19),所述第一端部包括切削刃(15,16),所述第二端部形成刀具柄部(13)的一端,
其特征在于,柄部(13)的另一端为圆柱形,并且在从第二端部(19)朝向第一端部(21)的方向,轴向通道(14)具有减小的横截面面积,并且在刀具的包络面与轴向通道(14)之间,与靠近第二端部(19)相比,刀具(10)的最大壁厚更加靠近第一端部(21)。
2. 如权利要求1所述的刀具,其特征在于,在从第二端部(19)朝向第一端部(21)的方向,轴向通道(14)包括数个具有减小的截面面积的空间(14B-14F,18)。
3. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,所述轴向通道包括具有连续减小的横截面面积的阶台(14C,14E)。
4. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,轴向通道(14,14’)适于将冲洗介质传输到刀具的一个或多个切削刃(27,30),并且一个切削刃(16)基本连接到刀具的旋转轴线(CL)。
5. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,一个切削刃(16)与轴向通道(14)的假想延伸部相交。
6. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,轴向通道(14)包括三个通过圆锥形阶台(14C,14E)连接的圆柱形空间(14B,14D,14F)。
7. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,所述刀具设有三个切削刃对(15,16),所述切削刃对与刀具形成一体,所述刀具还具有三个切屑槽(17),其中,每个切削刃对(15,16)适于通过孔(18)被提供冲洗介质,所述孔与轴向通道(14)连通,提供的三个孔(18)终止于刀具的第一自由端部(21)并且孔(18)与中心通道(14)相交。
8. 如权利要求1或2所述的刀具,其特征在于,所述柄部(13)包围具有最大直径(ФA)的第一内部空间(14B),其中,直径(ФA)为圆柱形柄部(13)的外直径(ФD)的25-80%。
