Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserunlöslichen Disazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man durch Kup peln von tetrazotiertem m,m'-Diaminodiphe- nylsulfan mit 2 Mol. ss-Naphthylamin einen neuen, wertvollen, wasserunlöslichen Disazo- farbstoff erhält,
der sich infolge seiner guten Löslichkeit zum Färben von Zellulose.ester- und Spritlacken, Ölen und Fetten, Kohlen wasserstoffen, Harzen, Wachsen, sowie für graphische Zwecke, wie beispielsweise Kupfer tiefdruck, eignet.
Der neue Farbstoff, ein orangen Pulver, löst sich in Alkohol gelborange und in kon zentrierter -Sehwefelsäure blau und gibt sehr reine, braune Drucke, die sich durch hervor ragende @Sublimierechtheit auszeichnen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 6,2 kg m,m'-Diaminodiphenylsulfon wer den in üblicher Weise tetrazotiert und lang sam bei 0 zu einer feinverteilten, wässrigen Suspension von 9,1 kg ss-Naphthylaminchlor- hydrat gegeben. Durch langsame Zugabe von Natriumacetat wird die Mineralsäure ab gestumpft und,die Kupplung beendet.
Nach- her wird filtriert, neutral gewaschen und ge trocknet. Das erhaltene orange Pulver löst sich in Alkohol ,gelborange und .in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure blau und färbt Zellu- loseester- und Spritlacke, sowie Öle, Fette, Kohlenwasserstoffe, Harze, Wachse und Lösungsmittelgemische für Kupfertiefdruck in sehr reinen, braunen Tönen, die Drucke von sehr guter Sublimierechtheit ergeben.
Process for the preparation of a water-insoluble disazo dye. It has been found that by coupling tetrazotized m, m'-diaminodiphenylsulfane with 2 mol. Ss-naphthylamine, a new, valuable, water-insoluble disazo dye is obtained,
which, due to its good solubility, is suitable for dyeing cellulose ester and fuel varnishes, oils and fats, hydrocarbons, resins, waxes, and for graphic purposes, such as copper gravure printing.
The new dye, an orange powder, dissolves yellow-orange in alcohol and blue in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces very pure, brown prints that are characterized by excellent @sublimationfastness. <I> Example: </I> 6.2 kg of m, m'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone are tetrazotized in the usual way and slowly added at 0 to a finely divided, aqueous suspension of 9.1 kg of s-naphthylamine chlorohydrate. By slowly adding sodium acetate, the mineral acid is blunted and the coupling is ended.
It is then filtered, washed neutral and dried. The orange powder obtained dissolves in alcohol, yellow-orange and in concentrated sulfuric acid blue and colors cellulose ester and fuel varnishes, as well as oils, fats, hydrocarbons, resins, waxes and solvent mixtures for copper gravure in very pure, brown tones, the prints of very good fastness to sublimation.
