Description

  

  Verfahren zur Barstellung eines wasserunlöslichen     Disazofarbstoffes     der     Benzidinreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller,  wasserunlöslicher     Disazofarbstoff    erhalten  wird, der sich zum Färben von     Celluloseester-          und        Spritlacken,    sowie für graphische Zwecke,  wie beispielsweise Kupfertiefdruck, sehr gut  eignet, wenn man     tetrazotiertes        4.4'-Diamino-          2.2'-dimetbyl-diphenyl    mit     p-ssresol    kuppelt.

    <I>Beispiel;</I>  21,2 kg     4.4'-Diamirro-2.2'-dimethyl-di-          phenyl    werden in üblicher Weise     tetrazotiert     und mit<B>21,6</B> kg     4-Oxy-l-methyl-benzol        soda-          alkalisch    gekuppelt.

   Der nach bekannter  Arbeitsweise aufgearbeitete Farbstoff ist ein  in Wasser unlösliches, gelbes Pulver, das  sich mit gelbroter Farbe in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure löst und sich infolge seiner  grossen Ausgiebigkeit, guten Lichtechtheit  und Löslichkeit hervorragend eignet zum  Färben von     Nitro-    und     Acetylcelluloselackeri     und der für Kupfertiefdruck benützten     Harz-          und        Lösungsmittelgemische.    Die Lösung in       i#Knöl    ergibt, nach den üblichen Methoden    auf Papier aufgewalzt, einen leuchtend gelben  Druck, der rasch und mit Hochglanz trocknet,  ohne durch das Papier durchzuschlagen.

   The dye, worked up according to the known working method, is a yellow powder which is insoluble in water, which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color and, due to its high yield, good lightfastness and solubility, is ideally suited for dyeing nitro and acetyl cellulose packs and the resin used for copper gravure printing - and solvent mixtures. The solution in i # Knöl, when rolled onto paper by the usual methods, produces a bright yellow print that dries quickly and with a high gloss without breaking through the paper.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasser unlöslichen Disazofarbstoffes der Benzidin- reihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man tetrazotiertes 4.4'-Diamino-2.2'-dimethyl-di- phenyl mit p-Kresol kuppelt.
