Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserunlöslichen Bisazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man -durch Kup peln von tetrazotiertem p,p'-Dimethyl-m,m - diaminodiphenylsulfon mit 2 Mol. a-Naph- thylamin einen neuen, wertvollen, wasser unlöslichen Disazofarbatoff erhält, ,der sich infolge seiner guten Löslichkeit zum Färben von Zelluloseester- und Spritlacken, Ölen und Fetten, Kohlenwasseratoffen, Harzen, Wach sen,
sowie für graphische Zwecke, wie bei spielsweise Kupfertiefdruck, eignet.
Der neue Farbstoff, ein braunrotes Pul ver, löst sich in Alkohol orange und in kon zentrierter Schwefelsäure violett und ,gibt sehr reine, braune Drucke, die sich durch hervorragende Sublimierechtheit auszeichnen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 6,9 kg p,p'-Dimethyl-m,m -diaminodiphe- nylsulfon werden in üblicher Weise tetrazo- tiert und langsam bei 0 zu einer feinverteil ten, wässrigen,Suspension von<B>9,11,--</B> a-Naph- thylaminchlorhydrat gegeben.
Durch lang same Zugabe von Natriumacetat wird die Mineralsäure abgestumpft und die Kupplung beendet. Nachher wird filtriert, neutral ge- waschen und getrocknet.
Das erhaltene braun rote Pulver löst sich in Alkohol orange und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure violett und färbt Zelluloseester- und Spritlacke, sowie Öle, Fette, gohlenwasserstoffe, Harze, Wachse und Lösungsmittelgemische für Kupfertief druck in sehr reinen, braunen Tönen, die Drucke von sehr guter Sublimierechtheit er geben.
