Description
Verfahren zier Darstellung eines orange färbenden liüpenfarbstofes der Antlia.ntlironr eihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man den im Hauptpatent Nr. 124528 erhaltenen Küpen- farbstoff der Anthanthronreihe auch erhäl+, wenn man Chlor ohne Zusatz eines Verdün nungsmittels auf Anthanthron bei Tempe raturen unter 100 einwirken lässt.
Die Reaktion kann durch Zusatz eines ;r(-eigneten Katalysators (Jod, Chlorjod oder hienchlorid) beschleunigt werden.
Trocken ist der so erhaltene Küpenfarb- ^ioff ein orange gefärbtes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst. Er bildet mit alkalischem Hv@ro- sulfit eine violette Küpe, aus der die pflanzlichen Fasern in gleichen Tönen an gefärbt werden, die beim Verhängen oder keifen in ein leuchtendes Gelborange von hervorragenden Echtheitseigenschaften über- <I>Beispiel:
</I> Über fein gepulvertes Anthanthron, dem eine geringe Menge fein gepulvertes Jod oder Eisenchlorid zugesetzt ist, wird unter öfterem Durchmischen Chlorgas bei gewöhn licher Temperatur geleitet, bis eine 2 Atomen Chlor entsprechende Gewichtszunahme statt gefunden hat. Der zugesetzte Katalysator wird auf die übliche Weise, zum Beispiel durch gelindes Erwärmen im Vakuum oder durch Behandeln mit einem geeigneten Lö sungsmittel entfernt. Der so erhaltene chlo rierte Farbstoff entspricht der wahrschein lichen Formel:

The reaction can be accelerated by adding a suitable catalyst (iodine, chlorinated iodine or hiene chloride).
When dry, the vat color obtained in this way is an orange colored powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green color. With alkaline Hv @ rosulfite it forms a violet vat, from which the vegetable fibers are colored in the same tones, which when hanging or nipping into a bright yellow-orange with excellent fastness properties- <I> Example:
</I> Over finely powdered anthanthrone, to which a small amount of finely powdered iodine or iron chloride has been added, chlorine gas is passed with frequent mixing at the usual temperature until a weight increase corresponding to 2 atoms of chlorine has taken place. The added catalyst is removed in the usual way, for example by gentle heating in vacuo or by treatment with a suitable solvent.
