  Verfahren     zier    Darstellung eines orange färbenden     liüpenfarbstofes    der       Antlia.ntlironr        eihe.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man den im  Hauptpatent Nr.     124528    erhaltenen     Küpen-          farbstoff    der     Anthanthronreihe    auch     erhäl+,     wenn man Chlor ohne Zusatz eines Verdün  nungsmittels auf     Anthanthron    bei Tempe  raturen unter 100   einwirken lässt.  



  Die Reaktion kann durch Zusatz eines       ;r(-eigneten        Katalysators    (Jod, Chlorjod oder       hienchlorid)    beschleunigt werden.  



  Trocken ist der so erhaltene     Küpenfarb-          ^ioff    ein orange gefärbtes Pulver, das sich  in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner  Farbe löst. Er bildet mit alkalischem     Hv@ro-          sulfit    eine violette     Küpe,    aus der die       pflanzlichen    Fasern in gleichen Tönen an  gefärbt werden, die beim Verhängen oder  keifen in ein leuchtendes Gelborange von  hervorragenden Echtheitseigenschaften über-    <I>Beispiel:

  </I>  Über fein gepulvertes     Anthanthron,    dem  eine geringe Menge fein gepulvertes Jod  oder Eisenchlorid zugesetzt ist, wird unter       öfterem    Durchmischen Chlorgas bei gewöhn  licher Temperatur geleitet, bis eine 2 Atomen  Chlor entsprechende Gewichtszunahme statt  gefunden hat. Der so erhaltene chlo  rierte Farbstoff entspricht der wahrschein  lichen Formel:

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines orange färbenden K'üpenfarbstoffes der Anthan- thronreihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Chlor auf Anthanthron bei Temperaturen unter<B>100'</B> einwirken lässt. Trocken ist der so erhaltene Iiüpenfarb- stoff ein orange gefärbtes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst.
