Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 253955. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farb stoffes der Anthrachinonreihe und ist da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-Amino-4- brom-5-chloranthrachinon-2-sul.fonsäure mit o Toluolstilfamid kondensiert und das Konden sationsprodukt hernach verseift.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 32 Gewichtsteile 1-amino- 4 -brom- 5 -chlor- anthrachinon-2-sulfonsaures Kalium werden mit 14,4 Gewichtsteilen o-Toluolsulfamid, 6,4 Gewichtsteilen Natriumbicarbonat, 0,4 Ge wichtsteilen Kupferbronze und 0,2 Gewichts teilen Kupferchlorür in 350 Teilen Wasser unter Rühren während 2 Stunden auf 40 bis 45 C erhitzt.
Nach erfolgter Kondensation wird das Reaktionsprodukt auf übliche Weise aufge arbeitet und durch Digerieren in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure bei gewöhnlicher oder er höhter Temperatur verseift. Durch Ausladen in Wasser gewinnt man die 1,4-Diamino-5.. chloranthrachinon-2-stulfonsäure.
Der Farbstoff löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit hellgelber Farbe, die beim Zusatz von wenig Paraformaldehyd in Blau umschlägt. Er färbt tierische Fasern, z. B. Wolle, Seide, und künstliche Fasern wie Nylon in rotstichig violetten Tönen von guten Echtheiten.
