      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 242846.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     sauren        Anthrachinonfarbstoffes.       Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver  fahren zur Herstellung eines sauren     Anthra-          chinonfarbstoffes    und     ist    dadurch gekenn  zeichnet, dass man auf     1-Amino-4-(2'6'-dime-          thyl    -     4'-methoxyphenylamino)    -     anthrachin        on-          2-sulfonsäure    Brom einwirken lässt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  20 Teile 1-amino-4-(2'6'-dimethyl-4'       methoxyphenylamino)-anthrachinon-2-sulfon-          saures    Natrium werden bei     10-25         in    120  Teilen     Schwefelsäuremonohydrat    gelöst. Hier  auf werden unter gutem Rühren bei     0-ä0 ,     vorzugsweise bei 10-20 , 6,9     Teile    Brom  langsam zulaufen gelassen. Nach 10-14  Stunden erhöht man die Temperatur für  3 Stunden auf 60 , worauf die Reaktions  masse auf Eis und Wasser gegossen wird.

    Der ausgeschiedene Farbstoff wird     abfil-          triert,    in     3%iger        Kochsalzlösung    verrührt,  neutralisiert, nochmals filtriert und ge  trocknet.  



  Der neue Farbstoff ist ein blaues     Pulver,     das Wolle mit blauen Tönen färbt. In Schwe  felsäure löst sich der Farbstoff blau, und er       besitzt    die folgende Formel:

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren Anthrachinonfarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man auf 1-Amino-4-(2'6'-dime- thyl - 4'-methoxyphenylamino) - anthrachinon- 2-sulfonsäure Brom einwirken lässt. Der neue Farbstoff ist ein blaues. Pulver, das Wälle mit blauen Tönen färbt.
