<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum. Hauptpatent Nr: 254809. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines lebhaften sauren Walkfarbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines lebhaften sauren Walkfarbstoffes der Anthrachinon- reihe und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet. dass man auf 1-Amino-4-(2',3',6'-triäthyl-anilido)- anthrachinon-2,5-disulfonsäui-e Brom einwir ken lässt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 6,0 Teile 1- amino - 4 - (2',3',6' - tr iätliyl- anilido)-anthracliinon-2,5-disulfonsaures Na trium werden bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren in 50 Teilen Schwefelsäure 95<B>?7,</B> ge löst. Hierauf leitet man bei 20-30 unter weiterhin gutem Rühren 1. Teil Brom ein und erhöht zum Schluss die Temperatur noch während 3 Stunden auf 40". Den bromierten Farbstoff arbeitet man auf übliche Weise auf, sei es durch Giessen der Schwefelsäure in Eis und Wasser oder durch fraktionierte Fällung des sauren schwefelsauren Salzes aus der Schwefelsäurelösung mittels Zusatz von wenig Wasser.
Der Farbstoff wird in rotstichig blauen Nädelchen gewonnen, die sieh in Wasser mit leuchtend blauer Farbe leicht, lösen. Die Farbe der Lösung in konzentrierter Schwefel säure ist, schmutzig rotstiehig blau; bei Zu satz von wenig Parafornialdehyd schlägt sie nach leuchtend rotstichig blau um. Der Farb stoff färbt tierische Fasern, wie Wolle, Seide usw., sowie künstliche Fasern, z. B. Nylon, in leuchtend rotstichig blauen Tönen von ausgezeichneten Eehtheiten.
