Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines alkaliechten Baumwollfarbstoffes der Stilbenreilie. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem al- kaliechten Baumwollfarbstoff der Stilbenreihe gelangen kann, wenn man das Produkt, das durch Kondensation von<B>pp-</B> Dinitrostilben- o-o'-disulfosäure mit Dehydrothiotoluidinsulfo- säure gewonnen werden kann, mit einem Oxydationsmittel, beispielsweise Hypohalo- genit, behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Die nach Beispiel 2 der deutschen Patent schrift 113, 514 aus 100 kg dinitrostilben- disulfosaurem Natrium und 70 kg dehydro- thiotoluidinsulfosaurem Natrium durch 12- stündiges Kochen mit 1080 Liter 3 0J0 iger Natronlauge, Neutralisieren und Filtrieren erhaltene Farbstoffpaste wird in eine Javelle- lauge, bereitet durch Einleiten von 50 kg Chlor in 600 Liter 10 0%ige Natronlauge unter gutem Rühren eingetragen, auf<B>500</B> erwärmt,
bis das Chlor verbraucht ist, mit Salzsäure neutralisiert, gepresst und getrocknet.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein rotes Pulver dar, das sich mit violettroter Farbe in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure auflöst und Baumwolle in leuchtend rotstichig gelben Tönen anfärbt. Die Färbungen zeichnen sich im Gegensatz zu denjenigen des Ausgangs materiales durch gute Alkaliechtlieit aus.
