Zweckmäßig vermeidet man so hohe Temperaturen, daß eine Sulfierung und dadurch eine Löslichmachung des entstehenden Farbstoffes eintritt. Hinsichtlich der Konstitution der gebildeten Farbstoffe ist zur Zeit nur festgestellt, daß weder Sulfogruppen noch Titan in das Farbstoffmolekül eintreten, wenn die Temperatur entsprechend der gewählten Schwefelsäurekonzentration unterhalb der Sulfierungstemperatur gehalten wird.
