Description

  

      Zusatzpatentzum    Hauptpatent     Nr.    143399.    Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines violetten     Küpenfarbstoffes     beschrieben, das darin besteht,     dass    man den  nach dein Verfahren des     schweiz.    Patentes       Nr.   <B>56472</B> erhältlichen Farbstoff mit     p-Toluol-          sulfamid    behandelt.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden,     dass    man einen  Farbstoff von noch besseren Eigenschaften  erhalten kann, wenn man den nach dem  Verfahren der     schweiz.    Patentschrift     Nr.   <B>56472</B>  erhaltenen     Küpenfarbstoff    mit     Benzamid    be  handelt.  



  Der erhaltene Farbstoff bildet, aus     Tri-          chlorbenzol    oder Nitrobenzol umkristallisiert,  schöne. dunkelviolette glänzende Nadeln, die  sich in Schwefelsäure mit braunroter Farbe  lösen und die aus violetter     Küpe    Baumwolle  in blauvioletten, ausserordentlich echten Tönen  färben.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  4 Teile des nach dem Verfahren des     schweiz.     Patentes     Nr.    56472 hergestellten     Küpenfarb-          stoffes    werden mit<B>1,8</B> Teilen     Benzamid,   <B>0,6</B>    Teilen     wasserfreiern        -'LNZatriumacetat,   <B>0,05</B> Tei  len     Kupferacetat    und 20 Teilen     Nitrobenzol     so lange unter Rühren zum Sieden erhitzt,  bis die Intensität der Färbung nicht mehr  zunimmt. Man     lässt    dann erkalten und arbeitet  in der üblichen Weise auf.

<B>PATENTANSPRUCH:</B> Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den nach dem Verfahren des schweiz. Patentes Nr. 56472 erhältlichen Küpenfarbstoff mit Benzamid behandelt. Der erhaltene Farbstoff bildet, aus Tri- chlorbenzol oder Nitrobenzol umkristallisiert, schöne dunkelviolette, glänzende Nadeln, die sich in Schwefelsäure mit braunroter Farbe lösen und die aus violetter Küpe Baumwolle in blauvioletten, ausserordentlich echten Tönen färben. <B> PATENT CLAIM: </B> Process for the preparation of a vat dye, characterized in that one uses the process of Switzerland.
