Description
Verfaluen zur Darstellung eines güpenfarbstoffes der Anthraehinonreihe. Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes beschrie ben, bei dem 2. 1-(N)-Anthrachinonakridon- 6-karbonsäurechlorid mit 1-Amino-4-methoxy- anthrachinon durch Erhitzen in einem Lö sungsmittel umgesetzt wird.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man in ganz analoger Weise einen Küpenfarbstoff von ähnlichen wertvollen Eigenschaften er halten kann, wenn man 2.1-(S)-Anthrachi- nonthioxanthon-6-karbonsäurechlorid von der Formel

mit 1-Amino-4-methoxyanthrachinon durch Erhitzen in einem Lösungsmittel kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 1,4 Teile 2.1-(S)-Anthrachinonthioxanthon- 6-karbonsäurechlorid der oben angegebenen Formel, erhältlich zum Beispiel aus 1-Chlor- anthrachinon-6-karbonsäure durch Konden sation mit Thiosalicylsäure, Ringschluss mit Schwefelsäure und Behandeln der erhaltenen Karbonsäure mit Phosphorpentachlorid, wer den in 56 Teilen Trichlorbenzol mit 1,4 Tei len 1-Amino-4-methoxyanthrachinon auf etwa 210-215 C erhitzt,
bis die Farbstoff bildung beendet ist. Der beim Erkalten abgeschiedene Farbstoff wird zweckmässig durch Behandeln mit Natriumhypochlorit gereinigt. Er färbt Baumwolle aus violetter güpe rotstickig gelb.

<I> Example: </I> 1.4 parts of 2.1- (S) -anthraquinone thioxanthone- 6-carboxylic acid chloride of the above formula, obtainable, for example, from 1-chloro-anthraquinone-6-carboxylic acid by condensation with thiosalicylic acid, ring closure with Sulfuric acid and treating the resulting carboxylic acid with phosphorus pentachloride, who heated the 56 parts of trichlorobenzene with 1.4 parts of 1-amino-4-methoxyanthraquinone to about 210-215 C,
