1. What are loops?


Ans. The heart of IBM Design Thinking is a set of behaviors focused on discovering users'
needs and envisioning a better future. We call it the Loop. The Loop is a continuous cycle of
observing, reflecting and making. Observe to see what others look past.

2. Gateways available in process diagram?


Ans. There are 6 gateways available in process diagram:
1. Exclusive Gateway
2. Event-Based Gateway
3. Parallel Gateway
4. Parallel Event-Based Gateway

3. What is use of MURAL in design Thinking?


Ans. MURAL is a virtual tool that enables innovative teams to collaborate visually and

4. What is hills?
Ans. Hills are statements of intent written as meaningful user outcomes. They tell you where to

of the goal.

Ans. IBM Blueworks Live is a cloud-based software that provides a dedicated, collaborative
anywhere environment to build and improve business processes through process mapping.
Teams can work together through an intuitive and easily accessible web interface to document
and analyze processes to help make them more efficient.

6. Real life function of design thinking


Ans. Design Thinking is extremely useful in tackling problems that are ill-defined or unknown, by
re-framing the problem in human-centric ways, creating many ideas in brainstorming sessions,
and adopting a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing.

7. What is Sponsor user?


Ans. Sponsor Users are real users or potential users that bring their experience and expertise to
the team. They aren't passive subjects—they're active participants who work alongside you to
deliver a great outcome.

8. Inclusive and Exclusive Gateways?


Ans. An Inclusive Gateway is one of the most common gateways used in BPMN and is
depicted as a diamond with a circle within it. When used as a diverging gateway (splitting the
sequence flow into many paths), an inclusive gateway can have 2 or more outgoing paths.
An exclusive gateway evaluates the state of the business process and, based on the condition,
breaks the flow into one of the two or more mutually exclusive paths. In the example below, an
exclusive gateway requires that the mode of transportation be evaluated.

9. Who is process owner?


Ans. A process owner is the person solely responsible for owning a process. They are
accountable for designing an effective and efficient process, using the right people and financial
and technical resources to run the process, and delivering quality outcomes as required within
the organization.

10. Who is process manager?


Ans. The Process Manager (sometimes known as a Process Development Manager) is
responsible for taking a product through from original idea to production line, ensuring that all
technical standards are achieved and that the product makes a suitable profit for the company.

11. Efficient and effective business process with visibility.


Ans. Business process visibility, also called process visibility, is the ability to accurately and
completely view the processes, transactions and other activities operating within an enterprise.

12. Goal of DT.


Ans. Individualized goals are established through the IEP process to meet each students wants

Ans. Business process management is the discipline in which people use various methods to
discover, model, analyze, measure, improve, optimize, and automate business processes. Any
combination of methods used to manage a company's business processes is BPM.

19. Difference between Design Thinking and Agile?


Ans. Agile is a method to solve predefined problems, while design thinking focuses on finding
the right problems to solve. ... Agile is a project management method used to build better
software, whereas design thinking can be used by anyone to solve any big complex problem
that has no clear solution.
