      A story of redemption. Kenna has been apart from her daughter for 5 years after a drunk driving accident that claimed the father's life. Not the type of book that I typically read and this is my first Colleen Hoover book. Hoover does very well at developing her characters and chapter forty had me bawling.

      This story of was so touching. It shows how judgemental people can be and how anyone can made a mistake that can turn life upside down. I loved that Kenna was forgiven. I was so touched by mother's love for the daughter she never met. I loved how her relationship with Ledger developed. He is so mature and caring. Naration was perfect. I cried a lot and almost didn't sleep listening to this book. But it was worth it hearing how beautifully the story ended. I would give it 10 stars!

      I truly enjoyed the tragedy to triumph, Kenna being able to look beyond yesterday mistakes. As well as being patient and hoping to get the outcome she has been looking for.
      With that said, it started out predictable, then began to pull at my heart strings. I'm laughing out loud one moment, then holding my hand over my heart another. It seems as if I was going through the emotions with the characters. Asking myself what decision would I make? Could I be accepting? Or how far would I be will to go?

      I would recommend listening to or reading this book. "Regretting You" is a good book as well.

      I think this is one of the best written stories. I would love to see this made into a movie. It was a heartfelt story one guys would say is a chick flick. I think I would have had a hard time reading it with the tears I had to wipe away. Thanks for making it audio with great narrators that are easy to listen to. I’m going to keep following the author for more great stories. Thanks for writing this story.

      Colleen Hoover knocks it out of the park again. When a book invokes an emotional response in me, that's good writing. This one is a pretty difficult story, but it's really touching too.
