Relevance. In modern-day Russia, Belarus, and the territories occupied by Russia, there is widespread racial discrimination against indigenous peoples by language. Schools in their native language are closed and activists fighting Russification are subjected to physical violence, fine, police, criminal prosecution. Many researchers do not understand why discriminate against the Belarusian language in Belarus.

The purpose of the article is to reveal this as Russian imperialism constructs its ideology through the academic schools of science formed in Russia and Belarus over the centuries of colonialism.

The used method of historiographical analysis of the imperial ideologies of ethnographic, folklore, Slavic and sociological studies of Belarusians gave the following results: with the 1960 Russian scientific schools created popular in the former USSR, the ontological foundation for Eurasian, Slavophilism, racism, for example, the Moscow-Tartu school, M. Tolstoy Slavistics School, the concept of L. Gumilyov. After 1991, in the Russian imperial ethnology was created constructivism. Also Russian Orthodox clericalism, combined with different versions of Eurasianism, became popular in the social sciences in Russia and Belarus. These racist ideologies in conjunction with the Belarusian authoritarianism created «Belarusian State Ideology», which is mandatory for use in the Belarusian universities and science.

Conclusions. These theories and concepts can not be verified, since they contain racist ideological axioms, ideological choice of sources and facts. Such studies should be considered pseudo-scientific, and their findings, methods of measurement, the facts can not be used.

У сучасних Росії, Білорусі, на окупованих Росією територіях розширена расова дискримінація корінних народів за мовою, закриваються школи, де навчаються мовами корінних народів, а активісти, які борються проти русифікації, піддаються фізичному насильству, штрафом, поліцейському, кримінальному переслідуванню. Причому для багатьох не білоруських дослідників дивним є те, що це відбувається в державі Білорусь відносна білорусів та білоруської мови.
Білоруський випадок пояснюється не тільки економічної і військово-політичної колоніальної залежності від Росії, але і тим, що в Білорусі офіційною ідеологією влади є місцевий варіант російського націоналізму, який є сумішшю форм російського расистського націоналізму – євразійства, слов'янофільства, російського православного клерикалізму – з білоруським авторитаризмом. Ця ідеологія називається "ідеологія білоруської держави" і є обов'язковою для використання всіма вченими і викладачами, які працюють у всіх університетах і державних інститутах. Причому в Білорусі відсутні недержавні наукові інститути та недержавне фінансування науки. Історіографічний аналіз етнографічних, фольклористичного, слов'янознавчих, соціологічних досліджень етнічних груп, показав, що починаючи з 1960-х років, наукові школи Росії створили популярні зараз просторах колишнього СРСР онтологічні підстави для євразійства, слов'янофільства, расизму, такі як Московсько-Тартуська школа, слов'янознавча школа М. Толстого, концепція Л. Гумільова. Після 1991 року в російській етнології був створений імперський конструктивізм, а також в Росії і Білорусі в суспільствознавчих науках став популярний російський православний клерикалізм, пов'язаний з різноманітними версіями євразійства. Ці теорії неможливо верифікувати, так як через ідеологічні расистські аксіоми та підбор джерел і фактів, ці теорії та концепті не чинні, не валідні. Такі дослідження слід вважати псевдонауковими і не можна користуватися їхніми висновками, методиками, вимірами, фактами.

This article is a part of a broader whole which examines the critique of Western rationality within Russian social thought. The present paper analyzes the relation of N. Danilevsky's theory of cultural-historical types to the early, classical Slavophilism of A. Khomyakov and I. Kireevsky Highlighting the differences between the two approaches, the author attempts to substantiate N . Danilevsky's originality, as well as the shift from Slavophilism to Panslavism which occurred in Russian thought in the last third of the 19th century.
Analyzing Russia and Europe, the author singles out three features of the theory of cultural-historical types which distinguish from the classical Slavophilism. The first is its scientific-positivist naturalist claim: Danilevsky constructs his theory of cultural-historical types as a scientific “natural system”, as opposed t o the early Slavophilism, which is religiously and philosophically grounded. In his theory of cultural-historical types Danilevsky rejects the idea of the unity of global history (the idea taken by Slavophiles from Hegel) as an Eurocentric prejudice. The second characteristic distinction refers to the different places and roles accorded the principle of statehood by Danilevsky and by Slavophiles. Unlike Slavophilism, which considers the state the “necessary evil”, Danilevsky places it at the focus of his theoretical and practical interest. His chef task is to argue for the necessity of creating a strong state - the Panslav Union. The third feature refers to the different interpretations of Russia's role in world history: contrary to the early Slavophiles' philosophy of history, in which Russia has a universal, all-human mission, Danilevsky limits Russia's task to the creation of a distinctive Slavic cultural-historical type. Nevertheless, when describing the future Slavic civilization, Danilevsky abandons his particularistic historiosophy and, contradicting his own theoretical standpoint, corns close to the Slavophilist understanding of the Messianic role of Slavs in world history.
In the final chapter of the paper, Dailevsky's political attitude is identified as the source of the inconsistency of his theory of cultural-historical types, as well as the reasons for its revival in the current crisis of the Russian identity brought about by the breakdown of Soviet communism.

В статье исследуется взаимосвязь философских и политических воззрений М.Н. Каткова, русского национального публициста и политика, носителя взглядов, характерных для политического национализма индустриальной эпохи, проводимых через соответствующий этой эпохе инструмент – газету.

Автор приводит аргументы против устоявшихся в литературе суждений о Каткове как нетеоретичном и сиюминутном политическом публицисте, а также против представления о мнимом его «переходе от Гегеля к Шеллингу».

Мировоззрение Каткова всегда базировалось на философии Шеллинга, а его публицистика была, по сути, переводом в политику идеи немецкого мыслителя о мире, как о противоборстве и смене центробежного и центростремительного движений. На основе этих идей у Каткова возникает оригинальная концепция русской истории и русской государственности как концентрации политической власти, уничтожения любых посредствующих властей, с целью последующего установления подлинной свободы индивида.

В разработке этой концепции Катков, с годами, всё больше отходит от присущей ему как политику «англомании» и ориентации на исторический консерватизм бёркианского типа, создавая свою версию консервативного руссоизма. Политический тоталитаризм доктрин Руссо ставится Катковым на службу обоснованию самодержавных контрреформ, смысл которых он видит в абсолютизации могущества государства. В этом отношении Катков противостоит славянофилам, стремившимся опираться на общественные силы реальной русской истории и отвергавшим сверхцентрализм.

При том, что в целом западнически-этатистские взгляды Каткова оказались достаточно односторонними и их влияние в позднейшей русской общественной мысли снижалось, автор полагает сохранившими значение до сего дня суждения публициста направленные против сепаратизма и «государства в государстве», а также сам «катковский миф», ставший важным элементом русского национального сознания.

In this article we will examine the influence of Alexander Herzen, perhaps the most famous Russian emigré of the 19th century, on the worldview of Vladislav Khodasevich and on the poetics of the latter’s poetry written in emigration. In this study it will be shown that Herzen’s relationship to the Europe of his day and its bourgeois values and political programs was a model for Khodasevich and influenced some of the poems in European Night. The title of this collection of poems and many features of its poetics (the position of the observer, the description of the “deformity” of European culture, political themes that occasionally appear) illustrate Khodasevich’s indebtedness to the works of Herzen. In this article we will also investigate Khodasevich’s social and political views and discuss the question of the pragmatics of his poems written in emigration.

В статье рассматривается влияние А.И. Герцена, пожалуй, самого известного русского эмигранта XIX в., на мировоззрение В.Ф. Ходасевича и поэтику его эмигрантских стихов. В работе показы- вается, что отношение Герцена к современной ему Европе, ее буржуазным ценностям и политиче- ским программам было для Ходасевича модельным и повлияло на некоторые стихи “Европейской ночи”. Заглавие поэтического сборника и особенности его поэтики (позиция наблюдателя, описание “уродства” европейской жизни, возникающие иногда политические темы) восходят к сочинениям Герцена. В статье также рассматриваются социально-политические взгляды Ходасевича и обсуждается вопрос о прагматике его эмигрантских стихов.

Knjiga Konstrukcija slovenstva u politici i nauci: Stvaranje (sve)slovenskih tradicija, ideološke koncepcije o slovenskom jedinstvu i njihove refleksije predstavlja naučnu studiju u kojoj njen autor uz visok stepen analitičnosti i kritičnosti analizira različite aspekte problematike vezane za konstruisanje slovenskih ideja, stvaranje slovenskih tradicija, kao i pokušaja stvaranja pannacionalnog slovenskog identiteta. Kroz istorijsko-teorijska istraživanja, autor je analizirao širi niz činjenica koje se odnose na različite idejne koncepcije, kao i manifestacije slovenskih ideja u različitim vremenskim kontekstima. Potrebno je istaći da ova knjiga predstavlja prvi obimniji rad koji se odnosi na problematiku slovenstva kao idejnog konstrukta u celini, te se uz akceptovanje njene tematike može konstatovati da predstavlja jedinstvenu studiju, koja kao takva ujedno ima i pionirski karakter.

Интерес и симпатия Аполлона Григорьева к славянофилам и особенно к Хомякову проявились уже в середине 1850-х годов, а в 1856 г. Григорьев публикует статью в славянофильском журнале «Русская беседа». Тем заметнее на этом фоне полное равнодушие Григорьева к религиозной тематике. Он как будто не знает о ее существовании. Интерес к богословию Хомякова пришел после случайного знакомства Григорьева с его только что тогда вышедшей третьей богословской брошюрой на французском языке (1858). Он купил ее в Берлине, где застрял по дороге домой из Парижа, — очевидно, в том книжном магазине, где был вынужден продать любимые гравюры и книги, чтобы получить хоть немного наличных денег. Можно указать точно название магазина и адрес дома, где это произошло, но от дома теперь осталась только фотография конца XIX в. Читать брошюру он начал, видимо, лишь после отъезда из Берлина, а впечатления от нее прорываются в его публицистику (статьи в журнале «Время») и переписку 1861–1862 года. Эти впечатления необычайно сильны. Григорьев не поверил религиозному посылу Хомякова, но ему оказалась очень близкой трактовка православия (в понимании Григорьева — созданной православием культуры) как истины между крайностями протестантского индивидуализма и католического принудительного объединения. Тем не менее, Григорьев усмотрел неявную тенденцию к принудительному объединению также и у славянофилов, предвосхитив этим будущую критику славянофильства у К. Н. Леонтьева.

Славянофил Ю.Ф. Самарин – первый общественный деятель, вступивший в длительное противостояние с «немецкой партией», которая в статье рассматривается как проостзейская группировка в придворных, правительственных и общественных кругах. Ее составляли выходцы из Остзейских губерний, приезжие иностранцы и поддерживавшие их русские высокопоставленные чиновники. Инструментом ее влияния являлось III отделение. Борьба Самарина с «немецкой партией» связана с тремя циклами его произведений: рукописными «Письмами из Риги» (1848), статьями в газете «Москва» о положении в Прибалтийских губерниях (1867), шестью выпусками книги «Окраины России» (1868–1876). Деятельность Самарина представлена в контексте борьбы «немецкой партии» со славянофилами и полемики в русской прессе 1860-х годов.
Slavophile Yu. F. Samarin was the ﬁ rst public ﬁ gure who entered into continued opposition to the “German party”, which in this article is viewed as pro-Baltic (Ostseen) group in the court, government and public circles. The party included natives of the Baltic governorates, foreigners and some high rank Russian ofﬁ cials supporting their ideas.The instrument of their inﬂ uence and power was considered to be the Third Section of His Imperial Majesty’s Own Chancellery (The Third Department). Samarin’s opposition to the “German party” was closely connected with the three series of his works: “Letter from Riga” manuscript (1848), articles on the situation in the Baltic governorates published in “Moskva” journal (1867) and the six issues of his book “Remote Areas of Russia” (1868-1876). In the present article Samarin’s activity is viewed in the context of the opposition of the “German party” and the Slavophiles and polemics and discussions in Russian press in 1860-s.

Mikhail A. Novoselov’s ecclesiological views according to materials dating to 1920's.
The article focuses on the discourse about the Church voiced by a well-known religious and public figure of the first half of the 20th century, a publisher and a writer, holy martyr Mikhail Novoselov (1864–1938). The authors bring together various ecclesiological passages mainly from the collection entitled “Letters to Friends” (1922–1927), form them into a system and specify its characteristic features. Their description starts from the two dimensions of the Church — Church as a living organism of the Truth (“Church as an organism”) and the structure of this organism based upon clear-cut formal rules which may seem outdated (“Church as an organization”). Novoselov also dwelt on the issues of ecclesiastical hierarchy and particularly the episcopate. He devoted special attention to the teaching authority of the hierarchy as well as to the problem of obedience in searching for the religious truth — the latter issue becoming of utmost importance to the writer, at the latest, during the onomatodoxy (‘Imiaslavie’) dispute in 1913. He also paid great attention to the role of laity in the Church and to the way of searching for the religious truth. The authors attempt to reconstruct the origin and resonance of Novoselov’s ideas through placing them within the context of his like-minded contemporaries and their views. The authors also make ample use of the unpublished sources and remembrances of those who knew M. A. Novoselov intimately. One of the conclusions at which the authors arrive is that Novoselov’s works present a well-thought-out model of the Church founded upon the intersection of its divine and human dimensions. The indicator of this coincidence of dimensions is the sainthood as a criterion of any true ecclesiastical experience, as well as martyrdom which becomes an important criterion at the time of persecutions. This reconstruction, interesting in itself, allows to pose the questions concerning that theological tradition in the framework of which Novoselov had been raised and with which he most sympathized, and concerning the import of this ecclesiology for the ecclesiastical life of the new epoch of martyrdom, when the “Letters to Friends” were composed.

Понятие «народность», появившееся в русской культуре в 1820-х годах, вызвало интерес А.С. Хомякова еще до того, как С.С. Уваров публично провозгласил триаду «Православие. Самодержавие. Народность» и, как утверждал П.И. Бартенев, молодой философ оказал влияние на развитие этой идеи у министра. Это подтверждает интерес, проявленный Уваровым к Хомякову в 1830-х годах. Связываемое с деятельностью Уварова понятие «теория официальной народности» сегодня нуждается в серьезном переосмыслении. Однако если Уваров не создавал целостной государственной идеологии, то попытался представить «народность» как лозунг развития самобытной национальной культуры. В 1840–1850-х годах Хомяков и другие славянофилы разработали собственную, независимую от уваровской концепцию народности. В их интерпретации «народность» выступает и как предмет познания (в изучении народного быта, фольклора и т.д.), и как форма сознания (система образов, восприятие мира). При этом славянофилы подчеркивали, что народность русская неразрывно соединена с православной верой. По Хомякову, «служение народности есть в высшей степени служение делу общечеловеческому», и в то же время «чем более человек становится слугою человеческой истины, тем дороже ему его народ». Влияние идей Хомякова проявилось в Пушкинской речи Ф.М. Достоевского, который, как и славянофилы, не противопоставлял «народное» и «общечеловеческое», а декларировал их антиномическую связь.
The notion of “narodnost'” (the national ethos, national spirit, nationality), which appeared in the Russian culture in the 1820s, aroused A.S. Khomyakov’s interest even before Minister of Public Education S.S. Uvarov publicly proclaimed his triad «Orthodoxy. Autocracy. Nationality», and, according to P.I. Bartenev, the young philosopher infl uenced the development of this idea in the minister’s writings. That concept was illustrated by Uvarov’s interest in the works of Khomyakov in the 1830s. The concept of “offi cial narodnost’” (Oficial'naya Narodnost') associated with Uvarov’s activity needs serious rethinking today. And though Uvarov did not create an integral state ideology, he still tried to put forward “narodnost’” as the basis for the development of original national culture. In the 1840–1850s, Khomyakov and other Slavophiles developed their own concept of narodnost', apart from Uvarov’s. In their interpretation, narodnost' was presented both as the object of cognition (people’s everyday life, folklore) and as the form of consciousness (the complex of imagery, perception of the world). Also, the Slavophiles emphasized that the Russian narodnost’ was inextricably connected with the Orthodox Faith. According to Khomyakov, «the devotion to nationality was primarily the devotion to the cause of panhumanism», and, at the same time, «the more a person served the cause of human truth, the more he treasured his own nation». The influence of Khomyakov’s ideas showed in the so called «Pushkin speech» of F.M. Dostoyevsky, who, like Slavophils, did not oppose national and panhuman, but asserted their antinomical connection.

The Neo-Eurasianist thinker Alexander Dugin has often been described as "Putin's brain," as observers find his themes in Putin's speeches. But what even is "Eurasianism" in relation to the present geopolitical situation?

«Conciliarity»: the emergence of a term and concept in the writings of Pseudo-Khomyakov

The origin of the notion sobornost’ (“conciliarity”) which first
became known from the Russian translations of the theological works by
A.S. Khomyakov was enigmatic in two respects: it was unknown who was the author of the term and the notion and what was its original meaning either. The article argues, that the author of the term was Yuri F. Samarin in 1863 (or slightly earlier), and that the original meaning of the notion sobornost’ was defined by means of an analogy with the Slavophilic notion obshchinnost’ “(communality”). Thus, the “conciliarity” denoted a certain principle of the Church unity, having “an inner kinship” (Samarin’s wording) with the principle of consistency of the peasant community.

Происхождение понятия «соборность» в русских пере-
водах богословских сочинений Хомякова представляло загадку в двух отношениях: было неизвестно, кто автор понятия, и был не вполне определен тот смысл, который заложил в это понятие его неизвестный автор. В статье доказывается, что автором термина и понятия стал Ю.Ф. Самарин в 1863 г. (или чуть ранее), а первоначальный смысл понятия «соборность» был определен посредством аналогии с понятием «общинность», также веденным славянофилами. Таким образом, «соборность» обозначала некий принцип церковного единства, имеющий «внутреннее сродство» (выражение Самарина) с принципом единства сельской общины.

В статье представлена история издания книги "Окраины России", а также других осуществленных в 1868 г. Ю. Ф. Самариным изданий. Исследованы обстоятельства цензуры всех шести выпусков "Окраин" (1868-1879).
