This marks the first fall in industrial activity since May, with output decreasing in manufacturing (-0.8% vs. 1.4% in August), particularly in machinery & equipment goods (-0.9% vs. 1.7%) and other manufacturing (-1.8% vs. 2.4%). Additionally, activity fell in mining & quarrying, energy, water supply, and waste management (-1.2% vs. -0.1%), as well as in construction (-0.3% vs. -0.6%).
