DESIGN FOR A STAIR-CARPET BUTTON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,801, dated June 7, 1898.
Application Sled May 5, 189B. Serial No. 679,850. Term of patent 'i' years.

Be it known that I, ROBERT II. WARREN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stair-Carpet Button; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.
Figure l is an elevaiion of my newly-de signed stair-carpet button, and Fig. 2 is a seetion of the same on line The leading or material feature of the design consists of a stair-carpet button having the trifolate shape in outline, substantially ns shown.
In said drawings said button is shown to be trifoliate in elevation or plan, the face of the button being ornamented with scrolls, beads, and curved configurations. The side leaves of said trfoliate button are som ewhatsmaller than the center leaf, and all said leaves are round at their upper extremities.
lVhat I claim as my design is- I The design for a stair-carpet button, substantially as herein shown and described.
