DESIGN FOR A STOCKING-SUPPORTER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,515, dated December 17, 1889. Application filed November 1, 1889. Serial No. 323.927.i Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, GEORGE II. PHELPS, a citizen of the United States, residing at West Newton, in the county of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented' and produced a new and original Design for Stocking- Supporters, of which the following is a specifieation, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 ot' the drawings shows in perspective a stocking-supporter showing my design, and Fig. 2 a section in the line w The leading feature of my design for a stocking-supporter consists in a raised edge or bead formed along the inner edge of the sidesof the opening ofthe stocking-supporter from their point of convergence.
