DESIGN FOR A RAND-GUIDE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,268, dated April 30, 1895.
Application filed December 11, 1894. Serial No. 531,527. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES W. GLIDDEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lynn, county of Essex, State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and original Design for a Rand-Guide for Rotary Trimmers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is an outer side perspective View of a rend-guide, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is a similar inner side View thereof.
The leading features of my design in rand guide for rotary trimmers consist in a curved base, a shell-like flaring top rising therefrom, and ,two ears depending from the base.
In the drawings the curved base a has a shell-like flaring top I) rising therefrom, gradually deereasingin thickness from the base to its upper edge, and shown as on the outer periphery 0f the base.
A wall 0 depending from the base is lengthened at or near the ends of the latter to form two ears (1, in the curve of the wall, and the Wall and ears are shown as on or forming a continuation of the inner periphery of the base a. The inner sides (1' of the ears (I are substantially at right angles to their faces.
I claim- The design fora. rand guide for rotary trimmers, substantially as herein shown and described.
