To all whom, it may concern.
Be it known that I, FERDINAND THIELKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design forIIandles forllnttoirllooks and Like Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which shows a side View of my newly-designed handle applied to a button-hook.
The principal feature of my design consists of several plain oval shaped portions or shields, decreasing in size toward the lower end of the handle, said plain portions being bounded by raised lines or ribs and beads, the upper or outer end of the handle beingshaped and decorated as shown.
Referring to the drawing, A represents a handle having the plain oval-shaped portions or shields a b c d, decreasing in size toward the lower end of the handle, and conforming in shape somewhat to the outline or eonton r of said handle. These shields are bounded by the raised lines or ribs 6 and beads f, the outer end of the handle being shaped and decorated as shown.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a handle for button-hooks, and similar articles, substantially as herein shown and described.
