DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR BUTTON-HOOKS, 80C.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 28,518, dated April 26, 1898. Application filed March 12, 1898- Serial No. 673,663- Term of patent 3% years- To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FERDINAND THIELKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, (borough of Brooklyn,) in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Handle for Button-Hooks and Like Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, which shows a side View of my newly-designed handle applied to a buttonhook.
The leading feature of my design consists of a raised foliated border-line terminating in the ornamentation shown at the outer end of the handle, and at the lower end in a series of raised ribs or corrugations, a Wreathof flowers joining the border-line above the ribs.
A represents the handle, having the raised 20 foliated border-lines a, terminating at the top in the ornamentation b and at the lower end in-the ribs 0, extending part Way up the handle. Above the ribs is a wreath of flowers d, extending across the handle and terminating at each end in the border a.
What I claim is A design for a handle for button-hooks, and similar articles, substantially as herein shown and described.
