EUGENE LEE BUTTON, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 21,796, dated August 23, 1892.
Application filed June 22| 1892. Serial No. 437,655. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Beit known that I, EUGENE LEE BUTToN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York,have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Box; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had t0 the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The leading feature of my design is the entire configuration of the box; and it consists in the contour shown in the drawing, the lower part A being cylindrical in form, having the base of a diameter slightly in excess of the diameter of the main portion of the receptacle formed by the nat-faced beads l and 2, the base-beads having unequal diameters, the diameter of the lower base-bead 2 being slightly The central part of my receptacle B has near its lower portion a bead 3 of diameter about the same as the base-bead 2, which is sui-mounted by an oval bead 4, presenting a slightly-greater diametenwhch in turn is surmounted by the progressively-decreasing oval beads 5, 6. and 7, terminating in the [lange 8, the surface between the bead 4 and flange 8 presenting a corrugated appearance by reason of the beads. The top C is bell-shaped, having a flat crown.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a box, as herein shown and described.
