Description
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en grenstent.
Stenter er vel kjent i teknikken. De er typisk utformet av et sylindrisk metallgitter som kan utvides når trykk tilføres innvendig. Alternativt kan de være utformet av tråder som er viklet i en sylindrisk form eller av plater av materiale utformet i en sylindrisk form.
Stenter og anordninger som vanligvis implanteres i kanaler i kroppen, deriblant vaskulærsystemet, for å forsterke kollapsede, delvis okkluderte, svekkede eller abnormt utvidede seksjoner av blodkaret. Stenter har også vært suksessfullt implantert i andre områder, for eksempel i urinveiene eller i galleårene for å forsterke slike kroppskanaler.
US 4 994 071 beskriver en utvidbar grenstent som har et sylinderformet hovednett utformet av sammenkoplede, fleksible tråder. To ytterligere sylindriske nett, med mindre diameter enn hovednettet, er konstruert på liknende måte. Hovednettet omfatter en fleksibel tråd som sammenkopler hovednettet med en av tilleggsnettene. En annen fleksibel tråd forbinder hovednettet med det andre tilleggsnett. De fleksible tråder danner ryggrader som strekker seg aksialt langs lengden av hovednettet og langs hver av tilleggsnettene. En ulempe med denne grenstent er dens kompliserte form av sammen-kopling av de fleksible tråder som danner ryggradene med ringstrukturen i hvert nett.
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse løser disse og andre ulemper med kjente utførelser med en fremgangsmåte for å fremstille en grenstent, slik den er definert med de i kravene angitte trekk.
En grenstent kan lages av tre plater til et ønsket mønster, hvor to plater i det vesentlige har samme størrelse og den tredje plate er bredere enn de første to plater. Hver av platene utformes til rør ved å bøye opp de langsgående kanter og sammenføyning av kantene ved sveising. Den store plate danner et rør som virker som hoveddelen av grenstenten, og de andre plater danner rør som virker som bendelene av grenstenten. De to bendeler blir så sammenføyet med stammedelen for å danne grenstenten. Videre kan en grenstent utformes ved å fremstille to stentbaser. For hver plate, blir de langsgående kanter av en del av platen svingt opp og festet til hverandre for å danne en av de to bendeler av grenstenten. De resterende frie kanter av hver av de to plater blir så sammen-føyet for å danne rammedelen av stenten. Grenstenten kan omfatte første og andre rørformede deler hvor den første del har en nær ende som danner stammedelen og en fjern ende som danner en av benområdene av grenstenten. En grenåpning er plassert mellom den nære ende og den fjerne ende av den første del. Grenstenten 250 er utformet av en første plate 270 og en annen plate 275 som vist på figur 1. Stentplatene 270 og 275 kan være dimensjonert og etset som tidligere diskutert. Som vist på figur 1, har den første plate 270 en første kant 271, en annen kant 272, en tredje kant 273, en fjerde kant 274, en femte kant 275, og en sjette kant 276, en sjuende kant 146, og en åttende kant 147. Den andre plate 275 har en første kant 277, en annen kant 278, en tredje kant 279, en fjerde kant 280, en femte kant 281, en sjette kant 282, en sjuende kant 148, og en åttende kant 149. Som vist på figur 2, ér kanten 274 forbundet med kanten 276 via en sveiseskjøt 290 for å danne en første del 295 som har et første benområde 255 og en første stammehalvdel 265'. Kanten 280 er forbundet med kanten 282 via en sveiseskjøt 291 for å danne en annen del 300 som har et annet benområde 260 og en annen stammehalvdel 265". Claims (9)
1. Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en grenstent, karakterisert ved a) å preparere en første plate (270) med en nær ene og en fjern ende og en første side (271), en andre side (272), en tredje side (273), en fjerde side (274) en femte side (275), en sjette side (276), en syvende side (146) og en åttende side (147), b) å forme den første plates (270) fjerne ende og forbinde den fjerde side (274) med den sjette side (276) til å danne et første ben (255) og å forme den første plates (270) nære ende til å danne en første stammehalvdel (265'), c) å preparere en andre plate (275) med en nær ende og en fjern ende og en første side (277), en andre side (278), en tredje side (279), en fjerde side (280) en femte side (281), en sjette side (282), en syvende side (148) og en åttende side (149), d) å forme den andre plates (275) fjerne ende og forbinde den fjerde side (280) med den sjette side (282) for å danne et andre ben (260) og forme den andre plates (275) nære ende til å danne en andre stammehalvdel, og e) å forbinde den første stammehalvdels (265<1>) åttende side (147) med den andre stammehalvdels (265") andre side (278) og å forbinde den første stammehalvdels (265') andre side (272) med den andre stammehalvdels (265") åttende side (149) for å danne en stamme.
