Abstract
Un aparato y un método para emulsificar un líquido de multicomponente presurizado mediante el aplicar energía ultrasonica a una parte del líquido de multicomponentes presurizado al ser éste recibido en la cámara y pasarse a través de un orificio. El aparato incluye una caja de matriz la cual define una cámara adaptada para recibir un líquido de multicomponentes presurizado y medios para aplicar energía ultrasonica a una parte del líquido presurizado. La caja de matriz además incluye una entrada adaptada para suministrar a la cámara con el líquido de multicomponentes presurizado, y un orificio de salida definido por las paredes de la punta de matriz. El orificio de salida está adaptado para emulsificar un líquido de multicomponente presurizado cuando los medios para aplicar energía ultrasonica son excitados con energía ultrasonica mientras que el orificio de salida recibe el líquido de multicomponentes presurizado desde la cámara y pasa el líquido hacia afuera de la caja de matriz. Cuando los medios para aplicar energía ultrasonica son excitados, éstos aplican energía ultrasonica al líquido presurizado sin aplicar la energía ultrasonica a la punta de matriz. El método involucra el suministrar un líquido de multicomponente presurizado al aparato anterior, aplicando energía ultrasonica al líquido presurizado pero no a la punta de matriz que el orificio de salida recibe el líquido presurizado desde la cámara, y pasar el líquido presurizado hacia afuera del orificio de salida en la punta de matriz de manera que el líquido de multicomponentes sea emulsificado.
