Abstract

임의의 속도, 포맷의 비트 스트림을 전송할 때, 어플리케이션에 의존하지 않고 송신측과 수신측의 비트 스트림의 속도를 맞춘다. 송신측에서는 비트 스트림에 주기적으로 선두 비트의 위치를 부여함과 동시에, 상기 선두 비트 위치의 사각(싱트 타임)을 패킷에 부가하여 송신한다. 수신측에서는 패킷으로부터의 상기 비트스트림의 선두 비트 위치의 시각을 추출하고, 이 시각을 이용하여 수신측의 비트 스트림을 FIFO로부터 판독하는 속도를 제어한다.

Claims (9)

  1. 소정 속도의 비트 스트림을 패킷화하여 전송하는 전송 패킷 방식에 있어서, 송신측에서 비트 스트림에 주기적으로 선두 비트의 위치를 부여하는 스텝, 상기 부여된 선도 비트 위치의 시각을 패킷에 부가하는 스텝, 수신측에서 수신한 패킷을 일시 축적하는 스텝, 상기 패킷에 부가되어 있는 선두 비트 위치의 시각을 추출하는 스텝 및 상기 추출한 시각을 이용하여 상기 일시 축적 수단으로부터의 비트 스트림의 판독 속도를 제어하는 스텝으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 선두 비트의 위치를 부여하는 수단이 비트 스트림의 속도와 동일한 속도로 동작하는 카운터인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 추출한 선두 비트 위치의 시각에 소정치를 가산한 시각에서의 비트 스트림의 위치를 수신측의 비트 스트림의 선두 비트의 위치로 정하고, 상기 선두 비트 위치의 간격을 기초로 하여 수신측의 비트 스트림의 판독 속도를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 송신측에 소정 시간마다 비트 스트림의 비트의 위치를 패킷에 부가하는 수단을 설치하고, 수신측에 상기 부가된 비트의 위치를 기초로 수신측의 선두 비트의 위치를 정하여 일시 축적 수단에 송출하는 수단, 상기 수신측의 선두 비트의 위치를 상기 일시 축적 수단으로부터 판독한 시각과 패킷으로부터 추출한 선두 비트 위치의 시각을 기초로 하여 일시 축적 수단으로 부터의 비트 스트림의 판독 속도를 제어하는 수단을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 송신측에서 패킷 길이를 패킷에 부가하고, 수신측에서 상기 패킷 길이가 비트 스트림의 비트의 위치를 이용하여 전송 중에 소실된 데이타량을 산출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 송신측 시각과 수신측 시각의 시각을 맞추는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 송신측 및 수신측의 기기는 VTR인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 송신측 및 수신측의 기기는 영상 신호 재생 장치와 컴퓨터인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
  9. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 송신측의 기기는 영상 신호 재생 장치이고, 상기 수신측의 기기는 편집 장치인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 전송 방식.
