Claims (32)

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소가 활성화된 것임을 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기질이 세라믹 및 금속 물질들로부터 선택된 물질로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기질이 알루미노-실리케이트, 실리케이트, 티타네이트, 지르코네이트, 지르코니아, 지르코니아-스피넬, 마그네슘 알루미노-실리케이트, 알루미나, 스피넬, 뮬라이트, 및 코디어라이트로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 물질로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기질이 Fe, Ni, 또는 Co를 포함하는 합금들로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 물질로부터 형서되는 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 기질이 철족 금속 및 알루미늄으로 필수적으로 구성된 합금으로부터 제조된 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.

- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 허니컴의 적어도 약 7.75cells/㎠을 가지며, 상기 얇은 벽들의 두께가 약 0.05 내지 1.27밀리미터인 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 탄소코팅이 상기 허니컴의 총중량의 약 50%이하로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 탄소코팅이 상기 허니컴의 총중량의 약 30% 이하로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 활성탄소가 코팅된 합성체.

- 무기 기질을 준비하는 단계 ; 상기 무기 기질을 코팅과 접촉시키고 탄소 전구액으로 완전히 또는 필수적으로 구성되는 액체에 함침시키는 단계 ; 상기 탄소 전구액을 실질적으로 경화시키기에 효과적인 조건하에서 상기 무기 기질을 처리하는 단계 ; 및 상기 경화된 탄소 전구액을 탄소로 전환시키기에 효과적인 조건하에서 상기 무기 기질을 가열하는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 무기 활성탄소가 코팅된 기질의 제조방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 방법이 가열공정 후 상기 탄소를 활성화시키기에 효과적인 조건하에서 상기 무기 기질을 처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무기 활성탄소가 코팅된 기질의 제조방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 기질이 세라믹 및 금속성 물질들로부터 선택된 물질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 무기 활성탄소가 코팅된 기질의 제조방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 무기 기질이 알루미노-실리케이트, 실리케이트, 티타네이트, 지르코네이트, 지르코니아, 지르코니아-스피넬, 마그네슘 알루미노-실리케이트, 알루미나, 스티넬, 뮬라이트, 및 코디어라이트로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 물질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 무기 활성탄소가 코팅된 기질의 제조방법.
