Abstract

본 발명은 공중합체들의 혼화성 배합물을 함유하는 중합체 조성물에 관한 것으로, 상기 배합물중의 한 공중합체는 약 5 내지 30중량%의 에틸렌을 함유하는 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체이고 다른 한 공중합체는 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물과 스티렌, 에틸 아크릴레이드, n-부틸 아크릴레이트 및 2-에틸헥실 아크렐레이트중에서 선택된 코모노머와의 공중합체이다. 각 공중합체 배합물에 대하여 혼화성 영역이 한정되었으며, 상기 배합물은 상기 아크릴산 공중합체를 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체의 유탁액의 존재하에, 수성 상으로 존재하는 것이 아니라 현택된 상태로 존재하는 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체중에서 중합반응이 일어나도록, 중합시키므로써 유리하게 제조할 수 있다.

Claims (13)

  1. (a) 5 내지 30중량% 범위내의 에틸렌 함량을 가진 비닐 아세테이트와 에틸렌의 공중합체, 및 (b) (i) 8 내지 30중량%의 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물을 함유하는 스티렌 중합체, (ii) 8 내지 25중량%의 아크릴산을 함유하는 에틸 아크릴레이트 중합체, (iii) 8 내지 25중량%의 아크릴산을 함유하는 n-부틸 아크릴레이트 중합체, 및 (iv) 14 내지 25중량%의 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물을 함유하는 2-에틸헥실 아크릴레이트 중합체로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물의 공중합체를 주성분으로 하는 공중합체들의 혼화성 배합물을 함유하는 중합체 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(a)가 6 내지 25%의 에틸렌을 함유하고 상기 공중합체(b)가 10 내지 15%의 아크릴산을 함유하는 에틸 아크릴레이트와 아크릴산의 공중합체인 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(a)가 6 내지 25%의 에틸렌을 함유하고 상기 공중합체(b)가 18 내지 25%의 아크릴산을 함유하는 n-부틸 아크릴레이트와 아크릴산의 공중합체인 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(a)가 6 내지 25%의 에틸렌을 함유하고 상기 공중합체(b)가 18 내지 25%의 아크릴산을 함유하는 2-에틸헥실 아크릴레이트와 아크릴산의 공중합체인 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(b)가 스티렌과 아크릴산의 공중합체인 조성물.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(b)가 스티렌과 말레산 무수물의 공중합체인 조성물.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체(b)가 n-부틸 아크릴레이트와 말레산 무수물의 공중합체인 조성물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 혼화성 배합물이 10 내지 90중량부의 공중합체(a)와 90 내지 10중량부의 공중합체(b)를 함유하는 조성물.
  9. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 스티렌과 아크릴산의 공중합체가 소량의 2-에틸헥실 아크릴레이트를 함유하는 조성물.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공중합체들의 혼화성 배합물이 단일의 유리 전이온도(Tg)를 나타내는 조성물.
  11. 10 내지 35중량%의 에틸렌 함량을 가진 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체와 8 내지 32중량%의 아크릴산 함량을 가진 스티렌/아크릴산 공중합체의 혼화성 배합물을 함유하는 중합체 조성물.
  12. 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체와 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물과 스티렌, 에틸 아크릴레이트, n-부틸 아크릴레이트, 2-에틸헥실 아크릴레이트 및 이들의 조합물로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 코모노머의 공중합체로 이루어진 혼화성 배합물을 제조하는 방법으로서, 상기 아크릴산 또는 말레산 무수물과 코모노머를 상기 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌 공중합체의 수성 유탁액의 존재하에 중합시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서. 상기 배합물이 50중량% 이상의 비닐 아세테이트/에틸렌을 함유하며, 배합물중의 전체 아크릴산 함량은 15중량%를 초과하지 않는 방법.
