Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a synthetic resin composition capable of giving a molded article having improved impact resistance and iridescent luster, by incorporating styrene/ maleic anhydride copolymer with a specific ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: 99W50wt% styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer consisting of 97W 80wt% styrene and 3W20wt% maleic anhydride is incorporated with 1W50wt% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer consisting of 70W50wt% ethylene and 30W50wt% vinyl acetate. Preferably, the mixing ratio between the former and the latter is 90W 70%:10W30%.
EFFECT: The composition can be easily molded even in molding because of the improved fluidity and thermal stability.
