Abstract

(목 적) 에어백을 일단 조수석 탑승자가 보아서 상하 또는 좌우방향으로 전개시킨 후, 최종적으로 에어백 본래의 설계형상으로 전개시킨다.
(구 성) 콘테이너(12)내에 에어백(10)이 절첩하여 수용되어 있고, 콘테이너(12)의 전면개구를 리드(14)가 덮고 있다.
에어백(10) 내에는 내부백(20)이 배치되어 있고, 이 백(20)에는 인플레이터(16)에서의 가스를 상하방향으로 안내하기 위한 개구(22),(24)가 설치되어 있다.
(효 과) 인플레이터(16)가 작동하여 가스가 콘테이너(12)내로 분출되면, 이 가스는 내부백(20)을 전개시켜, 에어백(10)이 리드(14)를 밀어서 리드(14)를 개방작동시킨다.
인플레이터(16)에서의 가스는, 개구(22),(24)를 통과하여 상하방향으로 분출되고, 에어백(10)을 일단 상하방향으로 전개시킨 후, 최종적으로 에어백 본래의 설계형상으로 전개시킨다.
따라서, 에어백(10)의 전개과정에 있어서, 에어백(10)이 차량탑승자를 향해서 돌출해 오는 일이 없다.

제1도는 본발명의 실시예에 관한 조수석용 에어백장치를 표시하는 단면사시도.
제8도는 본발명의 다른 상태를 표시하는 에어백장치의 사시도.
제9도는 본발명의 다른상태를 표시하는 에어백장치의 사시도.

Claims (1)

  1. 절첩한 에어백(10)과, 그 에어백(10)을 수용하는 콘테이너(12)와 콘테이너(12)에 설치된 에어백 전개용의 인플레이터(16)와 콘테이너를 덮으며,에어백이 전개될 때에는, 그 에어백에 밀려서 챠량실내측으로 개방되는 리드(14)를 보유하는 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서, 상기한 에어백(10)내부에, 인플레이터(16)에서의 가스를 콘테이너 전방에 대하여 교차하는 방향으로 안내하기 위한 가스류 가이드부재를 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용 에어백장치.
