Claims (5)
- 발색이 서로 다른 3개의 셀로 이루어지는 화소가 종횡으로 배열하는 컬러 표시용의 화면을 구비하고, 다계조의 프레임을 2계조의 복수의 서브 프레임으로 치환하고, 각 서브 프레임에 대하여 기입 형식의 어드레싱을 행하여 상기 복수의 서브 프레임을 순차적으로 표시하는 가스 방전 표시 장치로서,복수의 프레임의 각각의 표시에서의 선두의 서브 프레임의 표시에서, 상기 화면을 구성하는 셀 중에서 그것에 대응하는 다계조 데이터 값이 최저 휘도를 지시하는 값이 아닌 비최저 휘도셀을 점등시키고, 또한 상기 비최저 휘도셀에 인접하는 적어도 1개의 셀을 강제적으로 점등시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 방전 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,복수의 프레임의 각각의 표시에서의 선두의 서브 프레임의 표시에서, 상기 비최저 휘도셀이 대응하는 화소의 모든 셀을 강제적으로 점등시키는 가스 방전 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,복수의 프레임의 각각의 표시에서의 선두의 서브 프레임의 표시에서, 상기 비최저 휘도셀 및 상기 비최저 휘도셀에 인접하는 양측의 셀을 강제적으로 점등시 키는 가스 방전 표시 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 화소가, 발색이 청색인 셀과 그것의 양측에 배치된 발색이 적색인 셀 및 발색이 녹색인 셀로 구성되는 가스 방전 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,복수의 프레임의 각각의 표시에서의 선두의 서브 프레임의 표시에서, 상기 비최저 휘도셀 및 상기 비최저 휘도셀에 인접하는 양측의 셀 중에서 발색의 시감도가 일반적으로 낮은 쪽의 셀을 강제적으로 점등시키는 가스 방전 표시 장치.
