Abstract
상기 제조 방법은 불순물을 포함하는 염화코발트 용액에 알킬인산계 추출제를 포함하는 유기 용매를 접촉시켜, 유기 용매에 아연, 망간 및 칼슘을 추출하여 분리 제거하는 제1 용매 추출 공정(S1), 염화코발트 용액에 황화제를 첨가하여, 구리의 황화물의 침전을 생성시켜 분리 제거하는 탈구리 공정(S2), 염화코발트 용액에 카르복실산 추출제를 포함하는 유기 용매를 접촉시켜, 유기 용매에 코발트를 추출시킨 후, 황산으로 코발트를 역추출하여 황산코발트 용액을 얻는 제2 용매 추출 공정(S3), 제2 용매 추출 공정(S3)을 거쳐 얻은 황산코발트 용액을 석출시키는 정석 공정(S4)을 순서대로 실행한다. 이 제조 방법에 의하면, 전해 공정을 이용하는 일없이, 마그네슘을 포함하는 불순물과 코발트를 분리하여, 직접적으로 고순도의 황산코발트를 제조할 수 있다.

도 2는 본 발명의 일실시형태에 따른 황산코발트의 제조 방법을 나타내는 공정도이다.
도 3은 도 2에 나타내는 제1 용매 추출 공정(S1)의 상세 공정도이다.
도 4는 도 2에 나타내는 제2 용매 추출 공정(S3)의 상세 공정도이다.
도 5는 용매 회수 처리(S32)의 상세 공정도이다.

Claims (7)
- 구리, 아연, 망간, 칼슘 및 마그네슘 중 1종류 이상의 불순물을 포함하는 염화코발트 용액에 알킬인산계 추출제를 포함하는 유기 용매를 접촉시켜, 상기 유기 용매에 아연, 망간 및 칼슘을 추출하여 분리 제거하는 제1 용매 추출 공정,
상기 제1 용매 추출 공정을 거친 염화코발트 용액에 황화제를 첨가하여 구리의 황화물의 침전을 생성시켜 분리 제거하는 탈구리 공정,
상기 탈구리 공정을 거친 염화코발트 용액에 카르복실산 추출제를 포함하는 유기 용매를 접촉시켜, 상기 유기 용매에 코발트를 추출시킨 후, 황산으로 코발트를 역추출하여 황산코발트 용액을 얻는 제2 용매 추출 공정
을 순서대로 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 용매 추출 공정에 있어서, 알킬인산계 추출제가 인산수소비스(2-에틸헥실)이고,
염화코발트 용액의 pH를 1.5∼3.0으로 조정하고 상기 추출제를 이용한 용매 추출로 처리하여, 불순물 원소를 유기 용매 중에 추출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 탈구리 공정에 있어서, 황화제를 첨가한 염화코발트 용액에 산화제 및 중화제를 첨가하여 산화 환원 전위를 -100∼200 ㎷(Ag/AgCl 전극 기준)로, 또한 pH를 1.3∼3.0으로 조정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 제2 용매 추출 공정에 있어서, 구리, 아연, 망간 및 칼슘이 제거된 염화코발트 용액에 알칼리 용액을 첨가하여, pH를 5.0∼7.0으로 조정하고, 코발트를 카르복실산계 추출제를 이용한 유기 용매 중에 추출하는 코발트 추출 공정을 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 제2 용매 추출 공정에 있어서의 상기 코발트 추출 공정에 이어서, 코발트를 추출한 유기 용매에 황산 용액을 접촉시켜, pH를 2.0∼4.5로 조정하고, 코발트를 황산 용액에 역추출하는 코발트 역추출 공정을 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제2 용매 추출 공정을 거쳐 얻은 황산코발트 용액을 정석 공정으로 처리하여, 황산코발트의 결정을 얻는 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 또는 제6항에 있어서,
상기 제2 용매 추출 공정에 용매 회수 처리가 포함되어 있고, 상기 용매 회수 처리는, 코발트를 추출한 후의 염화코발트 용액과 코발트를 황산 용액에 역추출 후의 유기 용매를 접촉시켜, pH를 2.0 이상 4.0 이하로 조정하고, 염화코발트 용액 중의 카르복실산계 추출제를 분리하는 처리인 것을 특징으로 하는 황산코발트의 제조 방법.
