Abstract
Description
도 2은 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 진공 증류 용기, 탈기 용기 및 리보일러를 도시하는 개략적인 흐름도이며, 여기서 상기 진공 증류 용기는 상기 하부 트레이 아래에 하나 이상의 추가 트레이를 포함한다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 배치(batch) 발효 운전의 대사 산물 프로파일을 도시하는 그래프이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른, 도 3에 도시된 대사 산물 프로파일에 상응하는 배치 발효 운전의 가스 흡수를 도시하는 그래프이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 양태에 따라, 특정 구성의 생물 반응기로부터 상기 진공 증류 용기를 통과하는 미생물의 생존능을 도시하는 그래프이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 일 양태에 따라, 도 5에 도시된 바와 상이한 구성의 생물 반응기로부터 상기 진공 증류 용기를 통과하는 미생물의 생존능을 도시하는 그래프이다.
Claims (26)
- 생물 반응기로부터 전달되는 발효 브로스로부터 적어도 하나의 생성물을 회수하기 위한 진공 증류 용기로서,
a. 독자 생존 가능한 미생물 바이오매스 및 적어도 하나의 생성물을 포함하는 상기 발효 브로스를 수용하기 위한 주입구, 생성물 농후 스트림을 이송하기 위한 배출구, 및 독자 생존 가능한 미생물 바이오매스를 포함하며 상기 생물 반응기로 이송되는, 생성물 고갈 스트림을 이송하기 위한 배출구를 정의하는 외부 케이싱; 및
b. 상기 외부 케이싱 내에 위치되고, 위로는 상부 트레이에 의해 그리고 아래로는 하부 트레이에 의해 구속되며, 복수의 이론적 증류 단계를 제공하기 위한 분리 매질을 정의하는, 분리 섹션을 포함하며;
상기 생성물 농후 스트림을 이송하기 위한 상기 배출구는 상기 발효 브로스를 수용하기 위한 상기 주입구에 비해 높고, 상기 발효 브로스를 수용하기 위한 상기 주입구는 상기 상부 트레이에 비해 높고, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림을 이송하기 위한 상기 배출구는 상기 하부 트레이에 비해 높은, 진공 증류 용기. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발효 브로스가, 시간 당 0.05 내지 0.5 반응기 부피의 공급 속도로 상기 진공 증류 용기에 공급되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발효 브로스는 상기 진공 증류 용기 내에 0.5 내지 15분의 체류 시간을 갖는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림을 이송하기 위한 상기 배출구는 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림을 상기 생물 반응기로 이송하기 위해 배관 수단에 의해 상기 생물 반응기에 연결되고, 상기 생물 반응기가 산업 공정으로부터의 C1-함유 가스의 발효를 위한 조건 하에서 작동되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리 매질이 일련의 증류 트레이들에 의해 정의되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리 매질이 3개 초과의 이론적 증류 단계를 제공하는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림 내의 독자 생존 가능한 미생물 바이오매스가 85% 초과의 생존능을 갖는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림 내의 상기 미생물 바이오매스의 생존능이 상기 발효 브로스 내의 상기 미생물 바이오매스의 생존능과 실질적으로 동일한, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림이 0.2 중량% 미만의 생성물을 포함하는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 농후 스트림이 에탄올, 아세톤, 이소프로판올 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 진공 증류 용기가 상기 진공 증류 용기의 높이에 걸친 압력 강하를 정의하도록 구성되며, 상기 압력 강하가 32 mbar 미만인, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 진공 증류 용기가 40 mbar(a) 내지 100 mbar(a)의 압력에서 작동하도록 구성되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 진공 증류 용기가 35℃ 내지 50℃의 온도에서 작동하도록 구성되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림이 상기 생물 반응기로 보내지기 전에, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림의 온도를 감소시키도록 구성된 냉각 수단을 추가로 포함하는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림의 온도는 35℃ 내지 40℃인, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발효 브로스를 수용하기 위한 상기 주입구는 배관 수단에 의해 탈기 용기에 연결되고, 상기 탈기 용기는, 상기 발효 브로스가 상기 진공 증류 용기로 전달되기 전에 상기 발효 브로스로부터의 가스의 적어도 일부를 제거하는 조건 하에 작동하도록 구성되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 탈기 용기가 0.0 bar(g) 내지 0.5 bar(g)의 압력에서 작동하도록 구성되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 외부 케이싱이 리보일러로부터의 증기 스트림을 수용하기 위한 주입구 및 액체 스트림을 상기 리보일러로 이송하기 위한 배출구를 추가로 정의하고, 상기 증기 스트림을 수용하기 위한 상기 주입구는 상기 하부 트레이에 비해 아래에 위치되고, 상기 액체 스트림을 이송하기 위한 상기 배출구는 상기 증기 스트림을 수용하기 위한 상기 주입구에 비해 아래에 위치된, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제18항에 있어서, 상기 액체 스트림이 실질적으로 물과 미량의 미생물 바이오매스로 구성되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 진공 증류 용기는, 복수의 생물 반응기로부터의 발효 브로스가 혼합되지 않은 채 상기 진공 증류 용기로 보내질 수 있는 방식으로, 다수의 격실로 분리된, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 산업 공정이 탄수화물 발효, 가스 발효, 시멘트 제조, 펄프 및 종이 제조, 제강, 정유 및 관련 공정, 석유 화학 생산, 코크스 생산, 혐기성 또는 호기성 소화, 합성 가스, 천연 가스 추출, 석유 추출, 알루미늄, 구리 및/또는 합금철의 생산 및/또는 제련용 야금 공정, 지질 저장조 및 촉매 공정을 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는, 진공 증류 용기.
- 제1항에 기재된 진공 증류 용기를 이용하여 발효 브로스로부터 적어도 하나의 생성물을 제거하는 방법으로서,
a. 독자 생존 가능한 미생물 바이오매스 및 적어도 하나의 생성물을 포함하는 발효 브로스를 생물 반응기로부터 진공 증류 용기로 통과시키는 단계;
b. 상기 발효 브로스를 부분적으로 증발시켜 생성물 농후 스트림, 및 독자 생존 가능한 미생물 바이오매스를 포함하는 생성물 고갈 스트림을 생성하는 단계; 및
c. 상기 생성물 고갈 스트림을 상기 생물 반응기로 되돌려 보내는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제22항에 있어서, 상기 발효 브로스를 상기 진공 증류 용기로 보내기 전에, 탈기 용기를 사용하여 상기 발효 브로스를 탈기시켜 탈기된 발효 브로스 및 발생 가스 스트림을 생성시키고, 상기 탈기된 발효 브로스가 부분적으로 증발되는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 방법.
- 제23항에 있어서, 상기 발생 가스 스트림은 적어도 하나의 생성물을 회수하기 위해 물로 스크러빙되는, 방법.
