Claims (10)
- OLED, 드라이버 트랜지스터 및 제 1 스위치 트랜지스터 내지 제 6 스위치 트랜지스터를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법에 있어서,
상기 제 1 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 데이터 신호 전원에 연결되고, 상기 제 1 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 드라이버 트랜지스터에 연결되고, 상기 제 1 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 제 2 스캔 전원에 연결되며; 제 2 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 드레인에 연결되고, 상기 제 2 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 양의 전원에 연결되고, 상기 제 2 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 방출 전원에 연결되며; 상기 제 3 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 기준 전원에 연결되고, 상기 제 3 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 게이트에 연결되고, 상기 제 3 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 제 1 스캔 전원에 연결되며; 상기 제 4 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 게이트에 연결되고, 상기 제 4 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 상기 제 5 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스에 연결되고, 상기 제 4 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 상기 제 2 스캔 전원에 연결되며; 상기 제 5 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 소스에 연결되고, 상기 제 5 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 상기 OLED의 양극에 연결되고, 상기 제 5 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 상기 방출 전원에 연결되며; 상기 제 6 스위치 트랜지스터의 소스는 상기 기준 전원에 연결되고, 상기 제 6 스위치 트랜지스터의 드레인은 상기 OLED의 양극에 연결되고, 상기 제 6 스위치 트랜지스터의 게이트는 상기 제 1 스캔 전원에 연결되는 단계;
상기 OLED의 음극을 음의 전원에 연결하는 단계; 및
상기 양의 전원과 상기 음의 전원 간의 전압차가 7.1V 내지 9.6V 범위에 있도록 하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 양의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 고정값을 가지고, 상기 음의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 조정 가능한 값임을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 양의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 4V 내지 5V 범위이거나,
상기 음의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 -5V 내지 -2.5V 범위이거나,
상기 양의 전원과 상기 음의 전원 간의 전압 차는 8.1V 내지 9.1V 범위에 있도록 설정됨을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.

상기 음의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 -4.5V 내지 -3.5V 범위임을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.

상기 양의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 조정 가능한 값이고, 상기 음의 전원에 의해 제공되는 전압은 고정값을 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 드레인-소스 전압은 다음과 같고,
Vds=양의 전원의 전압-음의 전원의 전압-Voled
여기서, Vds는 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 드레인-소스 전압이고, Voled는 상기 OLED의 두 단자 사이의 전압임을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 디스플레이 장치는 커패시터를 더 포함하고, 상기 드라이버 트랜지스터의 게이트는 상기 커패시터를 통해 상기 양의 전원에 연결됨을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치를 구동하는 방법.
