Abstract
Description
도 2는 상이한 충전제/안료에 의해 피브릴화되는 펄프 현탁액에 대한 1회 통과당 ˚SR을 보여준다.
도 3은 천연 중질 탄산칼슘의 존재 및 부재 하에 볼 밀에서 분쇄되는 펄프 현탁액에 대한 운영 시간에 대한 ˚SR을 보여준다.
도 4는 피브릴화 전에 또는 후에 첨가되는 천연 중질 탄산칼슘의 존재 및 부재 하에 분쇄된 펄프 현탁액에 대한 운영 시간에 대한 ˚SR을 보여준다.
Claims (31)
- (a) 현탁액의 형태로 셀룰로스 섬유를 제공하는 단계로서,
셀룰로스 섬유의 현탁액은 고체 함량이 0.2 내지 35 중량%이며, 셀룰로스 섬유는 유칼립투스 펄프, 가문비나무 펄프, 소나무 펄프, 너도밤나무 펄프, 마 펄프, 면 펄프, 및 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 군으로부터 선택된 펄프에 포함되는 것인 단계;
(b) 1종 이상의 충전제 및/또는 안료를 제공하는 단계로서,
충전제 및/또는 안료 입자는 0.5 내지 15 ㎛의 중앙 입도(median particle size)를 가지며, 충전제 및/또는 안료는 침강성 탄산칼슘; 천연 중질 탄산칼슘; 돌로마이트; 탈크; 벤토나이트; 점토; 마그네사이트; 새틴 화이트; 세피올라이트, 훈타이트, 디아토마이트; 실리케이트; 및 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 단계;
(c) 셀룰로스 섬유와 1종 이상의 충전제 및/또는 안료를 배합하는 단계로서, 섬유 대 충전제 및/또는 안료의 중량비는 건조 중량을 기준으로 1:10 내지 10:1인 단계; 및
(d) 상기 섬유가 적어도 부분적으로 1차 피브릴로 파괴되고, 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도(Schopper Riegler degree)가 4 ˚SR 이상 증가하고, 생성된 나노피브릴 셀룰로스 현탁액의 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 50 ˚SR 이상 및 95 ˚SR 이하가 될 때까지 1종 이상의 충전제 및/또는 안료의 존재 하에 셀룰로스 섬유를 피브릴화하는 단계
를 특징으로 하며, (d) 단계에서 피브릴화 이후, 현탁액의 pH는 6 이하가 되지 않도록 조정되는 것인, 나노피브릴 셀룰로스 현탁액의 제조 방법. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 셀룰로스 섬유가 크라프트 펄프 또는 표백된 장섬유 크라프트 펄프에 포함되는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 셀룰로스 섬유가 1 내지 5 중량%의 고체 함량을 갖는 현탁액 형태로 제공되는 것인 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 충전제 및/또는 안료가 배터라이트, 칼사이트 또는 아라고나이트 결정 구조를 갖는 침강성 탄산칼슘; 대리석, 석회석 및/또는 백악으로부터 선택되는 천연 중질 탄산칼슘; 및 이들의 혼합물의 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 침강성 탄산칼슘이 초미세 불연속 프리즘형, 편삼각면체 또는 능면체 침강성 탄산칼슘인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 충전제 및/또는 안료 입자가 0.7 내지 10 ㎛의 중앙 입도를 갖는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 충전제 및/또는 안료가 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 말레산, 푸마르산, 이타콘산, 아크릴 아미드 또는 이들의 혼합물에 기초한 폴리카르복실산 염의 단독중합체 또는 공중합체; 알칼리 폴리포스페이트; 포스폰산, 시트르산 및 타르타르산 및 이들의 가용성 염; 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 분산제와 혼합되는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 1 단계로 또는 여러 단계로 섬유에 충전제 및/또는 안료를 첨가함으로써, 섬유와 1종 이상의 충전제 및/또는 안료의 배합을 수행하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 충전제 및/또는 안료를 피브릴화 단계(d) 전에 또는 동안에 전부 또는 일부씩 첨가하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피브릴화 전에 셀룰로스 섬유와 1종 이상의 충전제 및/또는 안료의 배합물의 pH를 pH 10 내지 12로 조정하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피브릴화 후에 현탁액의 pH를 약 7.5 내지 9.5로 재조정하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피브릴화 전에 배합물을 2 내지 12 시간 동안 저장하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 피브릴화 전에 구리(II)에틸렌디아민, 철-나트륨-타르트레이트 또는 리튬-염소/디메틸아세트아민으로부터 선택되는 셀룰로스 용매를 배합물에 첨가하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 건조 중량 기준으로 섬유 대 충전제 및/또는 안료의 중량비가 1:3 내지 3:1인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각각 펄프 및 PCC의 전체 건조 중량을 기준으로, 70 중량%의 표백된 장섬유 크라프트 펄프를 30 중량%의 초미세 불연속 프리즘형(또는 능면체) PCC의 존재 하에 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 6 ˚SR 이상 증가할 때까지 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 8 ˚SR 이상 증가할 때까지 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 10 ˚SR 이상 증가할 때까지 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 15 ˚SR 이상 증가할 때까지 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 최종 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 60 ˚SR 이상 도달될 때까지 섬유와 충전제 및/또는 안료의 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 최종 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 70 ˚SR 이상 도달될 때까지 섬유와 충전제 및/또는 안료의 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 최종 쇼퍼 리글러 여수도가 80 ˚SR 이상 도달될 때까지 섬유와 충전제 및/또는 안료의 배합물을 피브릴화하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항, 제3항, 제4항, 제6항 내지 제21항, 및 제23항 내지 제25항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 안료 및/또는 충전제의 존재 하에서의 피브릴화 장치 1회 통과당 ˚SR의 증가가, 셀룰로스 섬유가 안료 및/또는 충전제의 부재 하에 피브릴화되는 경우의 1회 통과당 ˚SR보다 높은 것인 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 초미세 마찰 분쇄기, 정제기, 및 균질기를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 장치에 의해 피브릴화를 수행하는 것인 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 따른 방법에 의해 얻은 나노피브릴 셀룰로스 현탁액.
- 제29항에 있어서, 종이 제조 및/또는 종이 마감 처리에 사용되는 나노피브릴 셀룰로스 현탁액.
- 제29항에 있어서, 재료 복합재, 플라스틱, 페인트, 고무, 콘크리트, 세라믹, 접착제, 식품 또는 상처 치유 응용 분야를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택된 응용 분야에 사용되는 나노피브릴 셀룰로스 현탁액.
