- 제7항에서,상기 제1 표시판은,상기 게이트 라인과 나란하게 형성된 유지 전극 라인과,상기 유지 전극 라인 위에 형성된 유지 전극 패드와,상기 제2 주 게이트 라인, 상기 제1 부 화소 전극 및 상기 유지 전극 패드와 각각 연결된 충전 박막 트랜지스터를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에서,상기 제1 주 게이트 라인과 상기 제1 부 게이트 라인은 서로 다른 게이트 신호를 공급하며,상기 제2 주 게이트 라인과 상기 제2 부 게이트 라인은 서로 다른 게이트 신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 주 화소 전극 및 상기 제2 주 화소 전극은 각각 상기 구동 박막 트랜지스터와 직접적으로 연결되고,상기 제1 부 화소 전극 및 상기 제2 부 화소 전극은 각각 상기 구동 박막 트랜지스터와 결합 용량을 통해 간접적으로 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 표시판은 상기 화소 전극과 상기 데이터 라인 사이에 배치된 컬러 필터를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항, 제3항, 제4항 및 제6항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 화소 전극 및 상기 공통 전극 중 하나 이상은 마이크로 슬릿 패턴을 포함하며,상기 마이크로 슬릿 패턴은 상기 화소 전극이 배치된 화소 영역을 복수의 도메인으로 구분하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제12항에서,상기 마이크로 슬릿 패턴은,상기 데이터 라인과 나란하게 중첩된 하나 이상의 세로부와,상기 세로부와 교차하는 하나 이상의 가로부와,상기 세로부 및 상기 가로부 중 하나 이상으로부터 연장된 복수의 사선부들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제13항에서,상기 액정층은 수직 배향된 액정 분자와 자외선 경화형 모노머를 포함하며,상기 마이크로 슬릿 패턴 및 상기 자외선 경화형 모노머는 각 도메인마다 상기 액정 분자들을 서로 다른 방향으로 프리틸트(pretilt) 시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항, 제3항, 제4항 및 제6항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 화소 전극 및 상기 공통 전극 중 하나 이상은 절개 패턴을 포함하며,상기 절개 패턴은 상기 화소 전극이 배치된 화소 영역을 복수의 도메인으로 구분하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제15항에서,상기 절개 패턴은 상기 데이터 라인과 평행하게 중첩되는 제1 절개 패턴과, 상기 데이터 라인과 사선 방향으로 교차하는 제2 절개 패턴을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항, 제3항, 제4항 및 제6항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에서,상기 제1 표시판의 화소 전극 상에 배치된 제1 배향막과,상기 제2 표시판의 공통 전극 상에 배치된 제2 배향막을 더 포함하며,상기 제1 배향막 및 상기 제2 배향막 중 하나 이상의 배향막은 하나의 상기 화소 전극을 복수의 도메인들로 구분하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제17항에서,상기 복수의 도메인들의 경계들 중 일부는 상기 데이터 라인과 평행하게 중첩된 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
