Claims (16)
- 행렬 방향으로 배치되어 있는 복수의 화소를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치로서,
제1 기판 위에 형성되어 있으며, 화소 행마다 두 개씩 위치하는 복수의 게이트선,
상기 제1 기판 위에 형성되어 있으며, 두 개의 화소 열마다 하나씩 위치하는 복수의 데이터선,
상기 제1 기판 위에 형성되어 있으며, 상기 화소의 세로 중앙 부분을 따라 뻗어 있는 공통 전압선, 그리고
상기 제1 기판 위에 형성되어 있으며, 절연막을 사이에 두고 중첩하는 복수의 화소 전극과 공통 전극을 포함하고,
상기 서로 중첩하는 복수의 화소 전극, 그리고 공통 전극 중 어느 하나는 복수의 절개부를 가지고, 상기 복수의 절개부는 상기 서로 중첩하는 복수의 화소 전극, 그리고 공통 전극 중 나머지 하나와 중첩하고,
상기 공통 전압선은 상기 공통 전극과 접촉부를 통해 서로 연결되고, 상기 공통 전압선은 상기 접촉부로부터 상기 데이터선과 나란하도록 확장되어 있는 제1 확장부와 제2 확장부를 포함하고,
상기 제1 확장부와 상기 제2 확장부는 상기 복수의 데이터선 중 서로 인접한 두 개의 데이터선들 사이에 위치하고, 상기 제1 확장부와 상기 제2 확장부는 상기 복수의 화소 전극들 중 상기 두 개의 상기 데이터선들 사이에 위치하는 두 개의 화소 전극들 사이에 위치하고,
상기 제1 확장부와 상기 제2 확장부는 상기 화소 전극의 가장자리 및 상기 절개부와 나란하게 뻗어 있고,
상기 제1 확장부와 상기 제2 확장부의 길이는 상기 데이터선과 나란한 방향을 따라 상기 화소 전극의 길이의 반보다 크고,
상기 복수의 데이터선 중 인접한 두 개의 상기 데이터선 사이에 위치하는 두 개의 상기 화소 열에 위치하는 두 개의 화소 전극은 상기 두 개의 상기 데이터선 중 어느 하나에 동시에 연결되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,
상기 복수의 데이터선은 서로 다른 방향으로 뻗으며, 화소 영역의 중앙 부분에서 만나는 제1 부분과 제2 부분을 포함하고,
상기 공통 전압선은 상기 복수의 데이터선의 상기 제1 부분과 상기 제2 부분이 만나는 부분에 중첩하는 액정 표시 장치.

- 제2항에서,
상기 제1 기판과 마주하는 제2 기판,
상기 제2 기판 위에 형성되어 있는 차광 부재를 더 포함하고,
상기 차광 부재는 상기 공통 전압선의 상기 제1 확장부 및 상기 제2 확장부와 중첩하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,
상기 두 개의 화소 전극의 가장자리들은 상기 공통 전압선의 상기 제1 확장부 및 상기 제2 확장부와 제1 프린지 필드를 형성하고,
상기 두 개의 화소 전극의 상기 가장자리들은 상기 공통 전극과 제2 프린지 필드를 형성하고,
상기 제1 프린지 필드와 상기 제2 프린지 필드의 방향은 서로 다른 액정 표시 장치.

상기 공통 전압선과 상기 공통 전극은 상기 절연막에 형성되어 있는 접촉 구멍을 통해 서로 연결되고,
상기 공통 전압선은 접촉부를 포함하고,

- 제8항에서,
상기 접촉부는 상기 두 개의 화소 전극 사이에 위치하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제9항에서,
상기 접촉부의 면적은 상기 접촉 구멍의 단면적보다 넓은 액정 표시 장치.
- 제9항에서,
상기 접촉부의 면적은 상기 접촉 구멍의 단면적보다 좁은 액정 표시 장치.

- 제1항에서,
상기 제1 기판과 마주하는 제2 기판,
상기 제2 기판 위에 형성되어 있는 차광 부재를 더 포함하고,
상기 차광 부재는 상기 공통 전압선의 상기 제1 확장부 및 상기 제2 확장부와 중첩하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제13항에서,
상기 두 개의 화소 전극의 가장자리들은 상기 공통 전압선의 상기 제1 확장부 및 상기 제2 확장부와 제1 프린지 필드를 형성하고,
상기 두 개의 화소 전극의 상기 가장자리들은 상기 공통 전극과 제2 프린지 필드를 형성하고,
상기 제1 프린지 필드와 상기 제2 프린지 필드의 방향은 서로 다른 액정 표시 장치.
